For decades hereditarians have argued that as humans dispersed from Africa and were forced to adapt to novel and more challenging environments, selection pressures caused genetic changes affecting the brain (and therefore intelligence).

Blank slatists responded by claiming, "Oh no, that would be racist! 50,000 years is not enough time for changes in the brain to occur. Sure, some human organs may have undergone a little evolutionary adaptation, but not the brain!"

It was always a dumb and ideologically-motivated rebuttal and now hereditarians have strong direct scientific evidence to counter it. Two studies over just the past eight months — one of ancient European DNA conducted in David Reich's lab and another of ancient Asian DNA — found that humans underwent genetic changes associated with higher intelligence in the not-too-distant past.

Hispanic men are the biggest slackers, not Black women.

"A provocative new working paper by economists Daniel Hamermesh, Katie Genadek and Michael Burda sticks a tentative toe into these murky waters. They suggest that America’s well-documented racial wage gap is overstated by 10% because minorities, especially men, spend larger portions of their workdays not actually working."

"Acutely aware of the sensitivity of these findings, the professors delayed publication until after the presidential election. “I knew full well that Trump and his minions would use it as a propaganda piece,” says Mr Hamermesh, a colourful and respected labour economist."

The paper's conclusion that the racial wage gap is overestimated doesn't make much sense because these slackers are still at work getting paid for doing nothing.

New research suggests that effort at work is correlated with race (The Economist 2017)

Immigration is now associated with lower per capita economic growth (r = -.41), presumably because immigrants now mostly come from low-IQ, low-trust populations.

As of Nov 2024, foreigners are only 2.9% of the country's population. But among those in their 20s they are near 10%! Japan's migrant stock is very young!

Miami, America's "most diverse" city, has the lowest rate of helping neighbors among the dozen most populous cities in the US.

States with the highest rates of "formal helping" — Utah, Wyoming, Minnesota and Maine — are among the least diverse in the US.

Non-linear Ethnic Niches

"Chaldeans control 90% of the grocery stores in Detroit. 40% of the truck drivers in California are Sikh, and about a third of US Sikhs are truck drivers. About 95% of the Dunkin’ Donuts stores in Chicago and the Midwest are owned by Indians, mostly Gujarati Patels. In New England and New York, 60% of Dunkin’ Donuts stores are operated by Portuguese immigrants. 90% of the liquor stores in Baltimore are owned by Koreans. "
