Elise Stefanik is truly a great leader and a devoted patriot. Today’s selfless decision shows America what those of us who work with her already know. She is deeply devoted to her country and fully committed to see President Trump’s agenda succeed in Congress. It is well known Republicans have a razor-thin House majority, and Elise’s agreement to withdraw her nomination will allow us to keep one of the toughest, most resolute members of our Conference in place to help drive forward President Trump’s America First policies. There is no doubt she would have served with distinction as our ambassador to the United Nations, but we are grateful for her willingness to sacrifice that position and remain in Congress to help us save the country. I will invite her to return to the leadership table immediately.
Quinnipiac’s annual polling shows that, for the first time in the poll’s history, Congressional Democrats are now underwater with their own voters in approval ratings…. while Congressional Republicans are nearing an all-time high.
The House is working overtime to limit the abuses of activist federal judges. Our @JudiciaryGOP will expose the worst offenders in a high profile hearing & we are preparing urgent legislative action, like the @repdarrellissa bill to stop unfounded nationwide injunctions.
In his desperation, Chuck Schumer has now crossed a serious red line by telling PBS he is organizing and encouraging radical activists to “go after” Republican members of Congress and “force them to either change their votes or face the consequences!” His recruits are now crashing and disrupting private gatherings and even local school events, screaming profanities, and physically assaulting people. The madness must stop before someone gets hurt!
As Chuck Schumer tries to sell his new book on antisemitism, remember that when my Republican colleagues and I faced the vicious protest mob at Columbia last year and called on the university president to resign if she refused to restore order and protect Jewish students—Schumer was nowhere to be seen. In fact, our House investigation found later he actually advised university officials to “keep their heads down” and avoid meeting with Republicans.
🇺🇸President Trump Signs Executive Order to Eliminate the Department of Education
"Closing the Department of Education would provide children and their families the opportunity to escape a system that is failing them." –President Trump
We’re seeing the cracks of age in our air traffic control system. That’s why we’re going to go from copper wires to fiber, add new terminals for controllers, and give them sensors on runways to see better.
@USDOT is working with the best to get this revamp done in record time to make our skies and airports the envy of the world.
.Press Sec on the incident at the U.S. Institute of Peace: We were made aware of this story by individuals at DOGE... it became very clear that there was a concerted effort amongst the rogue bureaucrats at the U.S. Institute of Peace to physically barricade themselves inside the building — to prevent political appointees of this administration, who work at the direction of @POTUS, to get into the building.
