Harvested a year old cow today. About 550 lbs. Neat trick... Cut around the anus and pull large intestine out a few inches. Then zip tie it closed. Same for esophagus on the other end.

Batterycable chart. Ampacity chart for short cables. NEC lists standard wire sizes assuming 100 ft runs. When you use battery cables to your inverter the run is significantly shorter.

Funny for ya'll.... on of the nearby guys reached out to me because he thought his solar wasn't working. He's got an enphase microinverter system.. it's stupid simple... 30 panels and 30 microinverters, each microinverter makes 240v and it back feeds his meter. The monitoring interface screwed up a year ago so he has no idea how much power it's making and recently his light bill has been $500. he's got a big house.
So I went to his house at "solar noon" and put an ammeter on the system, it's making expected power for that time of day. So then I asked him for his power bill to make sure the power compnay is giving him credit for the power he generates and they are. Then I look at February... he only sold 29kwh for the MONTH, but in June it was much better. it's a small system....
So now I'm questioning how much their usage is. He swears he and wife can't use that much power... Now the truth starts sneaking out: she says "he leaves the lights on in his workshop all the time and when he comes in the house he turns on every light and goes to bed". I asked "Is he afraid something's gunna git him in the dark?" She says "I guess he is... I told him if something was gunna git him, I'd wake him up first" LOL. Love a good married couple.

In my opinion, everyone should have some silver as a store of wealth and means of barter (in SHTF scenario).
Constitutional or “junk” silver is a great start. That is pre 1965 US coins. Dimes, quarters, half dollars. (this is 90% pure silver). 10%copper to give it hardness to reduce wear.
Silver Eagles are great too.
Other sovereigns such as Maples and Philharmonics are just fine. You can also go with generic rounds and bars. All these are 99.9% pure. So they are soft and will wear easily so not great for carrying around in your pocket with other coins.
If you want to buy silver I have some important suggestions:
1. Only buy from a reputable dealer (I like, SD Bullion, Myles Franklin and Pinehurst coins). Local coin shops that have been around for a while can be great too. So look locally first but otherwise see dealers I listed above. This way you know it’s real and not fake stuff.
2. Do not buy “numismatic” coins. These are graded coins. They sell at large premium prices to just regular stuff. Just buy regular stuff at low premium.
3. Know the spot price of silver before you buy and shop around.
4. Do not buy from individuals (especially from China) on EBay or Walmart. It’s likely gonna be fake silver.
I’ve bought off EBay for years with no issues but I only buy from large established US dealers. Pinehurst is selling tubes of Eagles at a competitive price right now.
I’ve been stacking Ag since 2009 and my father did for decades before that. So if anyone here has questions, please reach out.

Also, we finished cleaning out a 40x40 barn on another part of the property. Filled up a 20yard dumpster in about 2 hours. Found a few mice. A skeletonized possum.... a 100 year old set of golf clubs.
