In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Hamas movement strongly condemns the occupation’s decision to delay the release of Palestinian prisoners. This decision once again exposes the occupation’s evasions and its renouncement of its commitments.
The occupation’s claim that the "handover ceremonies are humiliating" is a false pretext and a flimsy excuse aimed at evading its obligations under the agreement.
These ceremonies do not involve any humiliation of the prisoners; rather, they reflect a dignified and humane treatment towards them.
The real humiliation is what our prisoners endure during the release process, including torture, beatings, and deliberate humiliation up until the last moments.
Palestinian prisoners are released with their hands shackled and their eyes blindfolded, while their families are threatened not to hold any celebrations to welcome their freed sons.
Netanyahu’s decision reflects a deliberate attempt to obstruct the agreement, constituting a clear violation of its terms and demonstrating the occupation’s unreliability in fulfilling its commitments.
We call on mediators and the international community to assume their responsibilities and pressure the occupation to implement the agreement and release the prisoners without any delay.

Ammar Al-Zaben: After 25 Years in Captivity, The Al-Qassam Commander Who Pioneered the First “Liberated Sperm” Will Be Released Tomorrow
—
The prisoner Ammar Al-Zaben was the Commander of an Al-Qassam cell in the Northern West Bank. By the orders of the resistance, he is set to be released and deported tomorrow as part of the victorious prisoner exchange deal.
Ammar was born in the city of Nablus in 1975. He is a Palestinian novelist, and resistance leader who led, along with his comrades, five martyrdom operations in 1997, three of which took place in the “Mahane Yehuda” market in Al-Quds, resulting in the death of 27 settlers and the injury of 300 others.
He was arrested by the occupation in 1998 and was sentenced to 27 life sentences, of which he has served 26 years.
Ammar was the first to successfully smuggle liberated sperm, which led to the birth of his son Muhannad in 2012, who is now 13 years old, and his son Salah Al-Din in 2014. His son Muhannad was named after his comrade, the resistance fighter and engineer, Muhannad Al-Taher, who was martyred in 2002. Ammar's child was later given the title “Ambassador of Freedom.”
As a prisoner, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, followed by a master’s degree in 2022 in the same field from Al-Quds University, and later enrolled in a Ph.D. program.
He is to be released tomorrow, Saturday, as part of the seventh batch of the “Flood of the Free” prisoner exchange deal. His older brother, Bashar, was martyred in 1993 during a confrontation with occupation forces in Jenin.
The occupation refused to release him in previous prisoner exchange deals. However, tomorrow, he will be released by the orders of the Palestinian resistance.

🚨 Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission:

Escalatory Measures Against 13 Female Prisoners in “Damon” Prison.
- The prisoners have been distributed across three rooms, with a sudden and weekly rotation of their placement. This is done to deliberately disturb them and create instability in their daily lives.
- The most pressing issue for the prisoners is the unbearable cold. The rooms are extremely cold, the windows remain open at all times, and they lack sufficient clothing and blankets to cope with the harsh winter conditions.
- Daily yard time is scheduled at 7:00 AM for one hour. The prisoners have repeatedly requested that it be moved to midday to benefit from the sun and avoid the morning cold, but the officers insist on keeping it at 7:00 AM as a form of provocation.
- The treatment by the guards is extremely harsh, particularly when the prisoners are taken to meet with their lawyer or visit the clinic. They are handcuffed behind their backs, blindfolded, and forcibly pushed or dragged in a painful manner.
- Recently, a security officer entered the prisoners' rooms at night while they were sleeping, without prior notice. This deeply disturbed the prisoners, especially since they sleep without head coverings. As a result, they have started sleeping with their heads covered in anticipation of any sudden intrusion by the guards.
- Every Friday, an officer calls three or four prisoners and places them in a very cold cell for one to two hours before returning them to their section, as a recurring act of provocation.
- In recent days, the guards have been bringing food to the section and leaving it aside for nearly two hours before distributing it to the rooms. The food is cold, with no flavor, and is provided in small portions.

🚨 The Palestinian Prisoners Club reported today that the Central Court in occupied Al-Quds issued today, Sunday, its ruling to imprison the child prisoner Mohammed Basil Zalbani (15 years old) from Shuafat camp/Al-Quds for 18 years, and imposed on him to pay financial compensation in the amount of 300 thousand shekels, on the background of his resistance to the occupation.
It is noteworthy that the child Zalbani has been detained since February 13, 2023, and the occupation had later demolished his family's home.
It should be noted that the occupation accused him of having killed a soldier, when in fact the soldier was killed by another soldier attempting to shoot Mohammed.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The storming of the zionist repression units into the Palestinian prisoners' cells in "Ofer" Prison, west of Ramallah, this evening, and the brutal attack on them, is a criminal, barbaric act that reflects the fascist and terrorist nature of this occupying entity.
These assaults are a continuation of the brutal and sadistic practices carried out by the occupation against our brave prisoners inside the prisons, and a desperate attempt to restore its shattered prestige by the hands of our resistance and our heroic people.
We call for exposing these inhuman crimes against the prisoners, which fall within the framework of the genocide war against our Palestinian people, and blatantly violate all international charters and norms.
We affirm the need to continue supporting measures for the prisoners, raising their cause, and organizing popular activities in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem in their defense, in parallel with the efforts made by the Palestinian resistance to achieve national exchange deals that break the chains of the jailer and shatter the oppression of the occupation and its prison guards.
We demand that the United Nations and humanitarian organizations, especially the International Committee of the Red Cross, fulfill their responsibilities, intervene urgently to protect our prisoners in the prisons, halt these criminal violations against them, document them, and work towards holding the criminal leaders of the occupation accountable for their crimes against humanity.

🚨 Palestinian Prisoners Club:

The occupation's decision to delay the release of the seventh batch is a form of organized terrorism and abuse practiced by the occupation against the released prisoners and their families, especially in light of the severe cold weather.
The occupation has not left any tool of humiliation, abuse and torture without using it against the prisoners and their families.
The prison system continues to torture the prisoners, and all the occupation agencies continue to threaten the prisoners and their families, which is an extension of a policy that it has used over many years, but it has clearly escalated during the recent liberation operations.
We remind you that the occupation did not stop at its crimes against the prisoners, but also practiced organized terrorism against their families, through threats that reached the level of arrest and killing, and storming homes and carrying out acts of sabotage and destruction inside them.
The Prisoners Club confirms that the goal of all these crimes and threats that are being carried out is not only an attempt to kill and rob them of the joy of freedom, but rather the goal of that is to harm the status of the Palestinian prisoner in the Palestinian collective consciousness.

The longest held Palestinian prisoner, Nael Barghouthi, from the village of Kobar, near Ramallah, is set to be released and deported to Egypt tomorrow as part of the resistance's victorious prisoner exchange.
Nael was born in 1957 and is known among prisoners as “Abu Al-Noor.”
He was first arrested in 1977 and then rearrested in 1978 along with his brother Omar and their cousin Fakhri Barghouthi, accused of killing an “israeli” officer north of Ramallah, burning an oil factory, and bombing a café in Al-Quds. They were all sentenced to life imprisonment plus 18 years.
He is considered the longest-serving Palestinian prisoner and the world’s longest-held prisoner according to the Guinness World Records in 2009. As of November 2024, he entered his 45th year in “israeli” prisons, 34 of which were served consecutively, marking the longest period of imprisonment in the history of the Palestinian national prisoner movement.
Fellow prisoners recognize him for his vast knowledge, love of reading, and passion for history, making him a reference in Palestinian resistance history. While in prison, he learned Hebrew and English. After his release on October 18, 2011, as part of the “Wafa Al-Ahrar” prisoner exchange deal, he began studying history at Al-Quds Open University. However, the occupation rearrested him in 2014, sentencing him to 30 months in prison. After completing his sentence, the occupation refused to release him and reinstated his previous sentence—life imprisonment plus 18 years—on the pretext of a “secret file.”
During his years of imprisonment, he said: “I have seen the prison gate replaced twice during my captivity. The reason was that the iron had worn out, but our spirits never did.”

🚨 The Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club hold the occupation prison administration fully responsible for the lives and fate of thousands of prisoners in "Ofer" prison following the announcement of the occupation prison administration to carry out a wide-scale repression operation.
The Commission and the Club issued an urgent call to the international human rights system to take responsibility regarding the systematic crimes being committed by the prison system against the prisoners, most notably the crimes of torture, medical crimes, and starvation, in addition to the repression operations and incursions, which are among the most prominent systematic policies used against the prisoners to mistreat and torture them. These policies have led to the martyrdom of detainees and prisoners, especially after the genocide war, as this phase represents the bloodiest period in the history of the prisoner movement.
The commission and the club also issued a call to the mediators to place the issue of the crimes occurring in the prisons on the negotiation table in order to stop the systematic killing of prisoners, as described in the testimonies of the released prisoners, as well as through the hundreds of testimonies obtained by specialized institutions.
The number of prisoners in the prisons exceeds ten thousand, and this figure does not include all of the detainees from Gaza in the camps operated by the occupation army.
It is noted that after the war [began], 58 prisoners and detainees have risen as martyrs in the prisons.

Bilal Abu Ghanem: A Decade Behind Bars, Now on the Path to Freedom
—
Bilal is a prisoner from the city of Al-Quds, who was born in 1994. On October 13, 2015, during the "Knife Intifada", he carried out a double resistance operation (stabbing and shooting) in Al-Quds alongside his comrade, the martyr hero Baha Alyan. The operation targeted a bus in the “Armon Hanatziv” settlement, resulting in the death of three settlers.
Baha was martyred during the operation, while Bilal was arrested after sustaining injuries. A few years after Baha's martyrdom, his cousins Ahmed and Wadi' Alyan, ascended to martyrdom after executing stabbing operations.
Bilal was later sentenced by the occupation to three life sentences and an additional 60 years in prison. The court also imposed heavy financial penalties:
• 750,000 shekels in total compensation to the families of the three killed settlers (250,000 each).
• 1,050,000 shekels in total compensation to the seven injured settlers (150,000 each).
• 100,000 shekels to the bus driver.
Despite this, Bilal remained steadfast in the occupation’s prisons, constantly expressing his defiance toward the occupation forces. During his trial, he exposed the fragility of the entity with his unshakable determination. When the judge of the occupation's court said to him "You are accused of killing three "israelis" along with Baha Alyan.” Bilal responded with “Impossible! I personally killed seven with a knife, and Baha shot ten with a pistol.”
When the judge ordered him to stand for sentencing, Bilal refused, declaring:
“You and your entire state cannot force me to stand for you.” As punishment for his defiant response, the court added 10 more years to his sentence.
A decade later, and Bilal Abu Ghanem is set to be released on Saturday as part of the seventh batch of the “Flood of the Free” prisoner exchange deal. During his trial, he made it clear:
“What we did was a response to their attacks on our women and Al-Aqsa.” Similarly, the operation of Al-Aqsa Flood was a response to the occupation's attacks to our women and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and now Bilal Abu Ghanem will be liberated by the orders of the Palestinian resistance, who achieved victory in the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.
The song attached in Media 2, titled “The Lovers of Stabbing,” was composed by the Ghoraba Band for Islamic Art and is dedicated to the heroes of the Knife Intifada, including the soon to be liberated prisoner, Bilal Abu Ghanem and his comrade, the martyr hero Baha Alyan.

🚨The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission reported on Sunday that child prisoners are enduring brutal beatings, extreme cold, starvation, and illness in “Megiddo” Prison and Moscobiya Detention Center, according to the commission’s statement.
Abuse and Harsh Conditions in Megiddo Prison
During a visit to several prisoners in “Megiddo” Prison, the Commission’s lawyer reported that Aysar Ashraf Ibrahim Abu Sbeitan, a 17-year-old from the town of Al-Tur, Al-Quds, has been detained since July 10, 2024, without sentencing. He is currently held in Section 4, Room 5, along with 10 other prisoners.
• Extreme Cold: The prisoners lack warm and sufficient clothing, and some only have half a blanket. They share blankets among themselves due to the shortage.
• Physical Abuse: Guards regularly assault the child prisoners. Every two days, they raid a random room and brutally beat its detainees.
• Gas Attacks: Abu Sbeitan stated that if any prisoner hangs a towel on their bed, a guard enters and violently beats them. Additionally, guards spraying tear gas into rooms became a habit for entertainment.
Medical Neglect and Further Abuse
Another child prisoner, Mohammed Yasser Hassan Darwish, a 16-year-old from Issawiya, Al-Quds, was sentenced to seven months and has been detained since November 24, 2024. He has been suffering from scabies for a month, along with other infected prisoners in Room 9.
• Widespread Infection: The entire section houses 40 infected prisoners, all suffering from severe itching and sleepless nights without medical treatment.
• Punishment for Seeking Medical Help: When Darwish demanded medical treatment, he was beaten and placed in solitary confinement for six days, along with prisoner Ahmed Tubasi.
• Brutal Raid: Days before the report, guards stormed the room with a dog, attacking prisoners. The dog scratched and terrified them, causing one prisoner to faint from fear.
• Denial of Basic Needs: As punishment, prisoners were banned from yard time for several days. Darwish also reported that they lack warm clothing and must share half a blanket with another prisoner. The prison administration provides only one plate of rice for 10 prisoners.
Torture in Moscobiya Detention Center
In Moscobiya Detention Center, child prisoner Mohammed Rateb Shehadeh Abu Ramishan, who is still awaiting trial, reported being violently interrogated and beaten on his back with rifles. Despite informing interrogators that he had undergone knee surgery, he was forced to kneel.
Another detainee, Ayman Mujahid Abdel Aziz Masalmeh, a school student from Halhul, was arrested on February 3, 2025. He suffered repeated blows to the head, leading to body convulsions.
• Coerced Confessions: The interrogators used intimidation, threats, and physical violence to force both child prisoners to confess. They were told that if they refused to admit guilt, they would face administrative detention. Under beatings and pressure, both confessed to throwing stones.
