Bible vs. Science: The Original Flat Earth Book
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

Before Copernicus, before NASA, before rockets, satellites, and fisheye lenses…
There was the Bible.
And unlike modern science, it never claimed we were spinning on a tilted ball flying through endless space.
In fact, the Bible consistently describes a still, enclosed earth—with foundations, corners, a firmament above, and waters both above and below.
Here’s what the original flat earth book says:
•The earth is fixed and immovable
“The world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.”
(Psalm 93:1, 1 Chronicles 16:30)
•The earth has corners and ends
“After these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth…”
(Revelation 7:1)
•There is a firmament (dome) above the earth
“And God said, Let there be a firmament… and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
(Genesis 1:6-8, Ezekiel 1:22)
•The sun moves, not the earth
“The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.”
(Ecclesiastes 1:5)
•Heaven is above, and Sheol is below
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.”
(Philippians 2:10)
Modern science says:
•Earth spins, tilts, and orbits the sun
•There’s no up or down in space
•The universe is billions of years old and ever-expanding
•We evolved from nothing
The Bible says:
•Earth is still
•There’s a structure to creation
•The heavens declare the glory of God
•You were made in His image, on His footstool, beneath His firmament
Only one of those views gives glory to the Creator.
Only one of them matches what we actually observe.
And only one has stood the test of time.
Science changes every century.
The Bible hasn’t changed in over two thousand years.
“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”
—Isaiah 40:8
Mock it all you want—
But the truth is, the Bible always taught a flat, enclosed earth.
And deep down, the ones who laugh the loudest are often the ones it convicts the most.
