Being With Myself
Being enlightened means being self aware. Awareness of yourself means you don't miss anything inside. You are aware of things like the quality of your thoughts and feelings, of how you sometimes give your power to others, and how your self-esteem occasionally fluctuates.
You don't miss anything because you know that knowing yourself is vital to being comfortable with yourself. Are you comfortable with yourself? No! Then be with your self, talk to your self, listen to your self today. Take a few moments out and have a meeting with yourself.
Put yourself in your diary. Put your self at the top of your to do list. And write next to it, 'being with myself'.

Increasing The Power Of Discrimination To Improve Karmas
Many people feel internally and complain that their intellect is not as clear as they would like. One of the aims of meditation and spiritual knowledge is to make the intellect strong, clear and clean, as a result of which there is an increase in the power of discrimination. An increase in this power helps us maintain a sense of what is right and wrong while performing actions and implement that awareness.
Meditation brings about self-realizations whereby you realize what is happening inside you. Sometimes, while observing someone, we use the phrase: He/she doesn't know what he/she is doing, referring to someone who is acting in an incorrect way. If we are to act in an appropriate way, we need to be aware and be awake to the consequences (results) of our actions. The voice of the conscience brings with it that state of awareness, awakening, realizing and discrimination. This is because, in meditation you feel quiet and you focus your thoughts inwards. In that state, the sound of the voice of the conscience is perceived and heard. It is a voice that is not affected by material worries or a preoccupation about one's image and public appearance. During meditation, you are completely focused on the present moment of spiritual empowerment and not distracted by: karmas which are necessary but unnecessary to be thought of that time, noise, unrelated ideas of the past and the future, mental chatter, etc., basically everything that separates you from your true spiritual self. In this way you can listen to yourself within and as a result ensure to the maximum extent that your karmas are appropriate and accurate.

Creative Visualization
The incorporeal (non-physical) soul, situated in the centre of the forehead consists of three energies. Although each energy can be given a different name, it is actually the same energy, the soul, functioning on three different levels at the same time. These are the mind, which is the thinking faculty (energy) of the soul; the intellect, which is the decision-making and visualizing faculty (energy) of the soul and the personality characteristics, commonly called sanskaras.
In the practice of meditation, on one hand, the mind is used to create pure, positive and powerful thoughts or affirmations based on the basic qualities of the soul like peace, contentment, happiness, love, joy, power, etc. Along with that, the intellect is used to create visual images of the same thoughts, which is called creative visualization. This process brings about a positive change in our sanskaras. This is the basic principle used in the Rajyoga meditation taught by the Brahma Kumaris. Creative visualization may be used in various ways to experience true relaxation of the mind.

Each of us is blessed with the power to tolerate different behaviors, as much as we have the power to confront them. When there is a clash of values, differences in tastes, contradicting opinions or your own weaknesses, we are sometimes unsure whether to tolerate or oppose them. Knowing how to respond makes us capable of preventing or solving issues. Do you consider it unavoidable to face or confront people who behave or act in ways that you don’t approve of? Do you sometimes find it unavoidable to tolerate abuse, corrupt practices or violence? Does your mind become unsure of which behaviours to tolerate and which ones to face? We all have two inner powers – The Power To Adjust and The Power To Face. Since these powers are opposite by themselves, we need to be very clear in discerning which of them to use in a given situation. One reason our relationships are getting complicated, is because we are wrongly using these powers. If there are differences in qualities, virtues, opinions, moods and perspectives, we need to adjust with people. Adjustment means we understand, accommodate and accept that people are different. Let’s not create negative thoughts, confront or withdraw from them. But if there is abuse, exploitation or compromise of values and principles, let us face or confront such behaviors. Adjust and accepting out of social pressures depletes us. Discerning and choosing the right power is crucial. The more you bring it into practice, the easier it becomes to discern and bring them into action.
Remember you are a wise being. Use your inner powers appropriately in every scene. People you meet today will present their behaviors. Know when to adjust and when to confront them and use your inner powers of adjustment and confrontation, the right way. Accept each one as they are, with stability. Advise or instruct them for their benefit, bless them but do not confront them. Your power to tolerate different personalities strengthens your relationships. At the same time in certain situations, when you have to confront people, rise above social pressures, public approval or obligations, do what is right. Also, when you know about your weakness or a wrong habit, confront it and do not adjust. Do not live with it. You know its consequence. So constantly work on it until you finish or change it. By using the right response at the right time, you increase your inner powers.

Becoming Free From Criticizing And Judging Others
A very important aspect of relationships is interacting with different people with different personalities and different words and actions - some words and actions may be negative and some of them may be positive, but not to our liking or not the same as we expect. In such situations, it's very easy to become critical and judgmental of others and sometimes we even start disliking others and thinking and talking negatively about them. What are a few qualities that we should imbibe so that we can transform this negative aspect of our personality?
1. Spiritual Love - We are all spiritual beings or souls, children of the one Supreme Being or Supreme Soul or God, who is the Ocean of Love. We have the same nature of love as God originally and when we start bringing that original nature of love in our relationships and start looking at everyone with the same vision of spiritual love, their weaknesses do not touch our consciousness and we forgive them easily.
2. Good Feelings And Good Wishes - Good Feelings are positive vibrations that we carry and radiate when we see people's specialties and goodness and good wishes are positive intentions that we have for others when we wish good for them at every step of their lives. Both make us understand others more and we become humble and free from negativity while seeing them.
3. Gratitude - All souls whom we interact with regularly, either in our family or friend circle or professional workplace have at some point of time, done something nice and positive for us and for others. Remembering those beautiful actions of theirs and being grateful for how they are and what they have done helps us see them in a positive light constantly.
4. Tolerance - One of the main reasons why we get disturbed easily by others negativity is that we lack the quality of tolerance. Tolerance increases by imbibing spiritual wisdom shared by God and connecting with God in meditation, who is the Ocean of Tolerance and Patience. He helps us become big-hearted, so that we can adjust with others easily and not criticize or judge them at all.
