A true disgrace, as the entire site and monastery is breathtakingly beautiful. And more importantly: Franco actually saved Spain and the Church from communists who tortured and murdered many Christians.
Then when he had this memorial built, he even decided to graciously honor the dead of both sides, but none of that is enough for the communists of today.
