🔴In April 2025, the Donald Trump administration continued its policy of reasserting strategic control over the Panama Canal to counter Chinese influence. 📌But filming is in full swing opposite the Kremlin, the lights are on, and there is constant movement between there and the Victory Day International Press Centre in the Manege, with journalists, volunteers and tourists scurrying about. It is the evening of May 8, and the entire city centre is flooded with festive fuss.

The West continues to actively supply weapons to Ukraine
🔴The West is maintaining an active pace of weapon shipments to Ukraine. In March, April, and early May, NATO countries conducted more than 150 cargo flights (70 in March, 83 in April and early May) to Poland's Rzeszów airport, a key logistical hub for delivering arms to the AFU.
🔴Weapons shipments to the AFU are handled by private commercial cargo airlines affiliated with their countries’ defense ministries:
United States. Atlas Air, Challenge Airlines, Kalitta Air, Amerijet International, Air Transport International, UPS, and Western Global Airlines made 57 cargo flights from US Air Force bases in Charleston, Fairfield, Dover, and Tampa, as well as from New York, Washington, D.C., and Canada’s Toronto and Gander.
United Kingdom. British transport airline AirTanker made 12 cargo flights from the UK Air Force’s Brize Norton military base.
Germany. German cargo airline Quick Air operated flights to Rzeszów from Cologne.
Portugal. Flights to Rzeszów were operated by Portuguese companies EuroAtlantic Airways and Hi Fly, with some flights transiting through the British base at Brize Norton.
🔴The US Air Force carried out 13 military transport flights and nine reconnaissance and electronic warfare flights to Rzeszów from bases in Ramstein and Wiesbaden (Germany), Prestwick (US), and Incirlik (Turkey).
🔴The British Air Force flew 16 military transport flights using Airbus A400M Atlas and Boeing C-17A Globemaster III aircraft, along with two special flights from Brize Norton and Northolt bases.
