🇬🇧🇮🇱 At the British Museum in London, the British Minister for Arms Procurement attended an event sponsored by the Israeli Embassy. The event was held in commemoration of 'Israeli Independence Day', which is known to Palestinians as Nabka Day; a commemoration of nearly a million Palestinians being forced from their land, and many thousands being massacred to make way for Israel.
Maria Eagle, Labour Minister, stated that Britain had 'stepped up' for its 'friends and partners' by sending spy planes over Gaza. According to declassified information, more than 500 surveillance flights have been conducted by the Royal Air Force since December 2022.
