"Dear Pope Francis
If you could do 1 miracle what would it be?
Love,
William"
"I would heal every child."
I'm certain he just wanted humble, modest kerning. His entire funeral was more modest and humble than usual.

Pope Francis: Doctors of the Church
---
Pope Francis added 2 saints in the list of the Doctors of the Church. A doctor of the Church is a saint whose teachings about faith and morals have a preeminent significance in the doctrine of the Catholic Church. So far, we have 37 Doctors of the Church. In 2015, Pope Francis proclaimed St. Grigor of Narek as Doctor of the Church. Though unofficial, may people call St. Grigor the Doctor of Peace. In 2022, he proclaimed St. Irenaios of Lyons as Doctor of the Church, calling him “Doctor Unitatis” or Doctor of Unity. St. Irenaios is the only martyr in the list of the doctors and the doctor who lived closest to the time of Jesus Christ.
MAY 3: THE POPE OF THE LAST SUPPER NARRATIVE
Saint Alexander I
Pope and Martyr
Died: 119

He was our pope for approximately 10 years during the 2nd century. He was a Roman citizen. Tradition says that he was the pope who inserted the narration of the Last Supper into the liturgy of the Mass. He also introduced the use of blessing water mixed with salt for the purification of Christian homes from evil influences. It is said that he had a vision of the infant Jesus. He was martyred by being burned and beheaded.

THE MAD PRIEST
Venerable Michel le Nobletz
---
Today is the death anniversary of the Ven. Michel le Nobletz. He was a French diocesan priest. He was a vigorous Counter-Reformation missionary. He revived popular Catholic culture. He developed new methods of teaching, and invented distinctive painted placards — known as taolennoù – which became widely used in the area. Due to his denunciations of vices among business leaders and other priests, he was called “the mad priest”

CONCLAVE PETITION
---
We ask the Holy Spirit to guide the cardinals in choosing the next Supreme Pontiff, who, we hope, will perpetuate the apostolic teachings, like St. Philip and St. James, whose feast we celebrate today.

Pope Francis: Beatifications
---
Pope Francis held the record of having been able to beatify the greatest number of beati: 1,541 beati. Like Benedict XVI, he chose to preside over canonization ceremonies and delegated cardinals to preside over beatification ceremonies, except for the beatification ceremonies of the 124 Blessed Martyrs of Korea, St. Paul VI, Bl. Jesus Emilio Jaramillo Monsalve, Bl. Pedro María Ramírez Ramos, the 7 Blessed Martyrs of Romania, Bl. John Paul I, and Bl. Ana of Jesus which were all presided by him. Among the people beatified under his term, two were given the title "beatus" via confirmation of cultus and one via concession of Mass and office. 5 of those he beatified have been canonized and 3 have been cleared to be canonized soon.
