🇷🇴📉⚠️ The National Bank published the official exchange rate for the Romanian leu vs the Euro
1 EUR = 5.03 RON officially.
Although a 0.06 cent increase from yesterday, the RON devaluing to the point where 1 EUR = ~5 RON is a new low. It is bad for those who have loans in EURs as they will be paying more, it will cause the price of imports to grow but it will earn more money for those who export abroad, especially the EU and if they pay in EURs

🌹⛓️💥🟦 It appears that Romanian medias have create a confusing mess regarding the status of Marcel Ciolacu.
Ciolacu has already resigned from his post as premier and they are looking for a replacement. He has yet to resign as PSD president but he is expected to do so, publicly, in one hour from now.
Ciolacu submitted his resignation as premier behind closed doors. His resignation can be walked back as he hasn't handed yet to the acting-president, Ilie Bolojan.
PSD and PNL wish however that the government continue as is, without Ciolacu. There is a debate about who should succeed him as acting-premier, between PSD's deputy premier, Marian Neacșu or PNL's education minister, Daniel David.
Although the parties say they want an interim-government until after the elections, they are likely hurrying to pick a new prime-minister that can be appointed by Ilie Bolojan and voted by Parliament before Nicușor Dan or George Simion become president and screw up their political maneuvering.
