Check out what these good lads are doing, a principle worth spreading!
I believe it's essential for Heathens to know, explore and have a real connection to the land they inhabit.

What Is FAFP?
What Is FAFP?
From Across the Fire Pit (FAFP) is a joint creative venture between writer and poet Edward England, and the Order of the Sacred Mannerbunde.
The purpose of the project is to share poetry, specifically made by England and members of the OSM, in both written and spoken format.
It is the belief of England that something is missed when poetry is simply read off the page, and in order to truly experience the depth of the furor poeticus, poetry must be spoken and heard.
A presence approaches from across the fire pit…

Young warrior brightly-bristled
Elf Lord's entrusted oath-hoarder
A shrewd opponent, ever battle-brave
Once trotting proudly neath Aurgelmir's mighty manes
Now resting softly in a mossy, grove-kept grave

"How long are you going to wait before you demand the best for yourself and in no instance bypass the discriminations of reason? You have been given the principles that you ought to endorse, and you have endorsed them.
What kind of teacher, then, are you still waiting for in order to refer your self-improvement to him? You are no longer a boy, but a full-grown man. If you are careless and lazy now and keep putting things off and always deferring the day after which you will attend to yourself, you will not notice that you are making no progress, but you will live and die as someone quite ordinary.
From now on, then, resolve to live as a grown-up who is making progress, and make whatever you think best a law that you never set aside. And whenever you encounter anything that is difficult or pleasurable, or highly or lowly regarded, remember that the contest is now: you are at the Olympic Games, you cannot wait any longer, and that your progress is wrecked or preserved by a single day and a single event."

I have organized an art auction to benefit my dear friend J of Arcane Accents. Her husband unexpectedly and tragically passed away recently and our wonderful art community has come together and donated exquisite pieces to raise money for J and her young son.
The auction is now live. There will be five items in each round. Bidding lasts 2 days. There will be one off day in between rounds for me to finalize transactions. There are tons of exquisite donations so stick around for a spell! This is a unique and fantastic opportunity to snag handcrafted artisan goods made by our Folk for the holidays or for yourself - and for such a wonderful cause.
The gratitude in my heart for all the help and art donations I’ve received is tremendous. Thank y’all so much. This is what community is all about. :ᚷ:

Thanks to gothi Cornwell for inviting me, I had a great time!
PS: I got some details wrong, for example the peat accumulation rate is 1000 years for 1 meter not 10,000

As winter sets in, some of us find ourselves dwelling on the bitter cold outside our cabin windows. Do the trees know that winter is here – and do they listen to this podcast? What are sacred trees? What can we learn from the muktigenerationality of trees as Pagans? In The Sacred Forest, Redbad’s Hall joins us to answer two of these three questions - on the Fire and Hammer Podcast.

Let's talk about trees: Sacred Trees in (Ingvaeonic) Heathenry
Trees are integral parts of nature and well respected in Heathenry. However, certain trees were especially venerated by our ancestors. Traces of such customs are still found in the world around us.
We can infer, from various sources, nine sacred trees in (Ingvaeonic) Heathenry. These are:
Oak
Ash
Elm
Lime
Birch
Yew
Willow
Hazel
Rowan
Some are more obvious, such as the oak, ash, elm and yew. Some are perhaps a bit more surprising, such as the willow, lime and hazel.
In the upcoming few months, I will dedicate a short post to each tree, arguing from historical, mythical and ecological viewpoints.
Disclaimer: The topic of sacred trees is quite subjective depending on your locality and tribal background. I am arguing primarily from a Northwest European viewpoint, specifically relevant to Ingvaeonic regions. Not all tree species are universally present in the Germanic world, so these trees cannot be seen as universally sacred to all Germanic peoples since they were/are simply not present in all the homelands of the Germanic peoples. I believe there is, for most trees, enough evidence to treat them as universally sacred to Germanic Heathenry, but for some trees there simply isn't. Keep this in mind when considering my arguments.
Coming soon, I'll start with the most favourite, popular and well known tree: the almighty Oak.

Please donate if you can to big Dave and his family. He does great work with Bizarchives and in the American heathen scene.

The physical and metaphysical nature of our Gods and ritual worship are discussed frequently on a multitude of platforms. But what’s rarely seen are observances to the scale of our Gods and the importance of physical ritual worship to know Them.

On my herb wizard arc right now🌱🍀
Channel isn't dead, just been very busy studying, got some cool stuff planned to post here.
Tea tip of today: bramble leaf + stinging nettle + gorse flower. Nice fresh, slightly earthy tea. Good against throat ache too.

HOF UPDATE.
Thanks to our generous donors we have raised enough "proof of funds" to submit our offer. The fundraiser is blowing away our expectations, averaging a $1k per day for 3 weeks solid.
This weekend we visited the property and began negotiations. When we are in contract we will share photos both publicly, and in our membership portal where we will discuss plans.
While we have raised enough to put in our offer, there will still be closing costs. Inspections, surveys, utilities, etc.
This Hof will become a focal point of the community and will enable all of us to improve and grow our faith in new ways we could never have dreamed of before. The Irminfolk are the Stewards and facilitators of this initiative, but it belongs to us all.
That is why we are asking for anybody who can help to please donate to our fundraiser, join our auxiliary, buy from futhark, or if you can't afford to do that right now, please share our appeal to whoever you know.

A Dutch company is attempting to destroy European culture and heritage by carving out a quarry in Bremamger, Norway. The site contains rock art made by our Stone Age ancestors that is over 8000 years old.
BruteNorse put it best in saying that Vingen is one of the most unspoiled petroglyph sites in all of Europe, but it won't be for much longer if this quarry goes through.
Join me, along with others in signing this petition to help stop this desecration of ancient European culture and heritage from taking place. We won twice with Stonehenge, let's do it again here:
