“We imperatively need a stricter enforcement of our general immigration law, and a permanent percentage limitation...

We want the American race to continue to be [predominately of] the same stock which originally settled the United States, wrote our constitution, and established our democratic institutions...

We want our immigration to be chiefly made up of kindred peoples from northern and western Europe, easily assimilable, literate, of high grade intelligence, able to understand, appreciate and intelligently support our form of government... America for Americans”

What Next in Immigration Legislation?, Robert De C. Ward, 1922
Edward A. Ross asserts, like the import of morally-impinged blacks, to allow foreigners even for work or study is nationally toxic. Ross says, “Should worst come to worst, it would be better for us to turn our guns upon every vessel bringing [outsiders] to our shores rather than to permit them to land.”
Excess of one tends to press upon the entrances of another; for every human domain it takes only a slight misjudgment or manipulation to open the door we'd be better off to keep shut. Someone really invested in the wellbeing of the living has to notice the necessity of distance and discrimination.

Any good deed of consequence involves adequate and intentional bias in who goes where, who gets what, and by whom Earth derives its dominant form of humanity. Quoting a self-aware Japanese politician, Stoddard emphasises, “There is nothing to be proud of in causing a nuisance to others through failure to control [your] population.”

Among the number of applications… cannot we find an American capable and worthy of the trust? … Why should we take the bread out of the mouths of our own children and give it to strangers?

John Adams’ Letter to Secretary of State John Marshall, August 14, 1800

What is the good of practising prudence in the family if hungry strangers may crowd in and occupy at the banquet table of life the places reserved for its children?

Changing America, Edward Alsworth Ross, 1912
Was the Face of the Earth vacant of other Plants, it might be gradually sowed and overspread with one Kind only; as for Instance, with Fennel—, and were it empty of other Inhabitants, it might in a few Ages be replenished from one Nation only; as for Instance, with Englishmen.
Observations on the Increase of Mankind, Benjamin Franklin
Madison Grant explains how, after the American Civil War, mistakes of greed and expedience in industry and immigration, both of which were facilitated by latecomers before the conflict but well after founding, led to wealth in the present yet poisoned the potential future down to our blood and soil.
‘The JQ’ can break you...one may call the race immortal, having survived a hundred fates; another labels it pestilential, felling empires and poisoning all. Whichever you say, they agree. It is no secret; they overdo, do a lot and on 'both sides'. World leaders enthusiastically acknowledge the vast presence and input of Jews without end.

Jewish author M. E. Ravage gloats, ‘We command your history, you fulfill our mission; our customs are your laws, your sustenance our say; even your Bible is made of our words. We divide and direct, you seldom object. We have made an empire in your mind.’ What then can you do? As a start: emancipate yourself of obsession and put down the weakness within you and your people that allows for it.
“You fight for your own country, and your own group, and your own culture, and your own civilization, at your own level, and in your own way. And when somebody says, ‘Apologize for this, or that’ you say: ‘No. I regret nothing.’”

Credo, Jonathan Bowden

Crowding of the world, mixing around and messing up living space causes terrible friction between peoples and ruins whatever mutual good was possible between them. Bowden carefully illustrates how distance and discrimination solves all things.
That our world might be overpopulated takes the attention of two main reactions: the absolute natalists, believing all life must live and birth control must end, and the misplaced restrictionists, not malthusian but misanthropic or blank slatist. Neither hits the nail needing hit but bangs around it wildly.

A century ago, it was a horror story to recall that Asia holds almost one billion men in total—today, India & China hold one billion each. Every year the East as a whole dumps greater misery onto the global scale, the mixing menagerie south of Texas festers, and then whatever is in Africa. Birthrate matters, not 'we have too few' or 'we have too many', rather, depending on who outweighs whom, we lose or gain value as a species.
On demographics, Senator H. C. Lodge wrote,

If we do not act, and act intelligently, we must be prepared for just such events as that at New Orleans [when eleven Italians were lynched]...breeding race antagonisms and national hostilities which never existed before, and which need never have an existence if we deal properly with this.”

In other words, diversity must be addressed seriously—addressed as a matter not just of race or ethnicity but every aspect of survival. Nationhood thrives through separation, the people are waiting to see if that will be achieved by deportation or wrought by death.

Foreign Luxuries and needless Manufactures imported and used in a Nation ... increase the People of the Nation that furnishes them, and diminish the People of the Nation that uses them.—Laws therefore that prevent such Importations, and on the contrary promote [Export and Manufacture at home]... strengthen a Country doubly, by increasing its own People.
...

The Importation of Foreigners into a Country... will be in the End no Increase of People, unless the Newcomers have more Industry and Frugality than the Natives, [but then] they will gradually eat the Natives out.—Nor is it necessary to bring in Foreigners to fill up any occasional Vacancy in a Country; for such Vacancy will soon be filled by natural Generation.”

Prescient Observations on the Increase of Mankind by Benjamin Franklin in 1755. He illustrates what role trade & travel has in national health and warns that skilled immigrants often pose a great threat.

‘We must learn to sacrifice some of the present to secure a better future’... Long-term thought means being able to think as far as a century and break down quarters, not worried about brief disruption of comfort but wanting foundations and motivation for the future. This matters as much in economy as it does for national demography or your close family.
Blessed are few, burdensome are many. Shy a tenth of humankind, far as that exists, is European; this stellar segment has put out eight to nine tenths of human achievement. Within this share still the talented are quite small, teeming throughout a few regions, carried by certain subsets of its nations.

Northwest Europe takes half the greatness; Britain, France, Germany, and Italy take almost three fourths. A list akin to The Five Biggest Ideas in Science shows four of the five have the British on top and all five needed not one non-European. That does not mean none could; it does mean there is no need to import or integrate what you can cultivate at home and should never replace.
To my boyish mind one thing alone was clear, that the soldiers as they marched past were all, in that supreme hour, heroes and patriots. Amid many changes that simple belief of boyhood has never altered. ...

But other feelings have in the progress of time altered much. I have learned, and others of my generation... have learned, what the war really meant, and they have also learned to know and to do justice to the men who fought...

[H]owever we differed, or still differ, as to the causes for which we fought then, we accept them as settled, commit them to history, and fight over them no more. ... [W]e hold out our hands freely, frankly, and gladly.

To courage and faith wherever shown we bow in homage with uncovered heads. We respect and honor the gallantry and valor of the brave men who fought... Differ in politics and in... other ways we must and shall in all good-nature, but let us never differ with each other on sectional or State lines, by race or creed.

The Blue & The Gray, Senator H. C. Lodge
The ordeal of diversity, that you and your ancestry must be alongside others who take away from you and your inheritance. And then under this continued migration, the replacing become the replaced or another member of the mess. Labour is cheapened, living less genuine, the country becomes detached from its nation—effectively a corpse for feed.
In 1896 every one of the associations formed to encourage immigration... petitioned Congress for an illiteracy test for immigrants and stated that they did not want Southeastern European immigrants.

A Government Commission in 1896 [found that] all [States] expressed a preference for native born or Northwestern Europeans...

The Immigration Restriction League [has found] the States desiring immigrants practically all wish native born, or immigrants from Northern Europe. ... All are opposed to having the slums of Eastern cities dumped upon them. ... Five desire no Southern and Eastern Europeans.

Selection of Immigration, Prescott F. Hall, 1904

Coupling sufficient efforts of deregulation with deliberate inspiration of citizen well-being, a good government may establish long-term prosperity for its people. President McKinley, by whom American productivity tripled, followed this logic. As did Napoleon, whose France built up Western Europe.

Both leaders enacted tariffs to do so. President Trump using this model is welcomed; a nationalist tactic in an otherwise nation-rotting world. What's needed to secure it now is stricter immigration restrictionthe importation of foreigners eats the joy of those who belong.
Diversity kills. A 1920s study found that fertility, safety, and satisfaction declined greatly by the influx of immigrants from non-NWE countries into the USA. This tide was linked to a drop in American beauty and fitness, an incline of ‘dumb citizens’ with poorer principles, and undertowed the biggest mistakes in American politics.

A 2020s study found that immigration and demographic change post-1965 induced bad outcomes across the board to an even worse degree than that. To maintain good worthwhile stock, a standard of citizenship has to be raised. And by that common sense, anyone below the bar from outside shall be sent out and their kin strictly kept out.
Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. ... whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the People to alter or to abolish it… it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

—Thomas Jefferson, Declaration of Independence

Our present political position has been achieved in a manner unprecedented in the history of nations. It illustrates the American idea that governments rest on the consent of the governed, and that it is the right of the people to alter or abolish them at will whenever they become destructive of the ends for which they were established.

—Jefferson Davis, Inaugural Address
