Lawyer Klaus Heimgärtner: "Garages may not be converted into an office, guest room, party room or storage room.”
In the Gagage Ordinance GaVO everyone can read what can be stored in their garage. What is not explicitly listed, such as tires, roof racks etc., is prohibited.
Bicycles are usually tolerated by the public order offices if it is ensured that the way to the car is clear.
Things that are only temporarily stored in the garage are also usually not objected to.
However, this does not include lawn mowers, garden furniture or barbecues, which are stored throughout the winter.
