Krasnodar Region Under Drone Attack
The previous night, the Krasnodar region faced a significant assault by Ukrainian drones, particularly impacting Novorossiysk. Residential buildings were hit, injuring four people, including two children, and damaging three tanks at a grain terminal. Debris from drones was found in other populated areas, causing further damage to private homes.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, air defense systems successfully shot down a total of 170 Ukrainian UAVs across various Russian regions, with 96 intercepted over Crimea and 47 over Krasnodar Krai. Additional interceptions occurred in Rostov, Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod.
Russian forces also thwarted Storm Shadow cruise missiles and Neptune-MD guided missiles over the Black Sea, destroying 14 Ukrainian unmanned boats during this operation.
