As a part of the night time routine with our kids we say the prayers of the rosary followed by the family credo
“What are the three most important things
Faith discipline honor
What do you have faith in
The redeeming blood of Christ
What is the importance of discipline
Without discipline man is no better than an animal
What is the value of honor
A man honor is worth more than his life”
After this I cuddle them and sing the Pater Noster and the Ave Maria in Gregorian chant to the best of my ability. My hope is that this tender ritual performed at bedtime as a cap on the end of a rigorous day of discipline, exercise, and study will instill with them a fond attachment to the Latin Prayers that will endure all their life.
Don’t tell your kids to say their prayers, better to pray with them.

Today we commemorate St. Simon of Trent, Martyr.
Murdered by Jews in Trent (now Trento in northern Italy), St. Simon was not quite three years old when he died. Jews in the city of Trent kidnapped and murdered St. Simon via exsanguination as part of their religious rituals connected to the Jewish Passover. His body was discovered by a Christian servant who reported the matter to the local authorities. Subsequent to a papal investigation, fifteen Jews were sentenced to death and burned at the stake for the murder. St. Simon serves as a reminder that God’s children will always be hated and attacked by those who have rejected God and serve another master.

"I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes."
This verse comes from a passage where Wisdom (personified as God's instruction) warns that those who reject God’s ways will face destruction—and God will mock them in their distress.
2. Psalm 2:4
"He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision."
Here, God mocks rebellious nations who think they can stand against Him. He reminds them that His rule is unshakable.
3. Psalm 37:13
"But the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming."
This verse emphasizes that the wicked may prosper for a time, but God knows their downfall is inevitable.

God knows which hearts will repent and which will persist in sin and when His mercy is rejected he laughs at the suffering of the wicked. Men can be made to suffer indignities and deprivations and even be killed but no man’s soul is condemned except by his own free will.

At least 40 people were killed in a brutal attack on a Christian farming community in north-central Nigeria late Sunday night. The attackers, who were reported as being Muslim gunmen, struck on Palm Sunday.
Open Doors reports this latest attack brings the death toll to around 113 people who have been killed in an ongoing spate of attacks in Plateau State since the end of March. The watchdog group reports Muslim Fulani militants have attacked at least eight communities, destroying more than 300 homes and displacing 3,000 people.
"Our people are living in fear," local adviser Titus Ayuba Alams said. "Children no longer go to school, even worship in churches you can't do it, because you are running for your life."
Islam is an inherently violent religion, which is why it is adopted by races prone to violence. Now many of these people have been invited into Europe and America and they must be removed.
