Celtic, once a team associated with working class Irish Catholics is now the poster child for big corporate globalist cultural imperialism. Many Celtic fans, especially Irish ones are now more anti Catholic than many Rangers aficionados. You are more likely to see globalist elitist propaganda waved by woke Celtic "ultras", who demand open borders (except for Palestine) than championing traditional Irish Catholic values. The republican types who bend over for royalty and take money from capitalist philanthropists to further the cultural imperialism around the world is a far cry from a club whose origins are distinctly Catholic. Most of the left leaning fanbase will purchase their sweat shop made jerseys and praising multimillion pound transfers than defending the hard fought values of their ancestors. Much like Liverpool FC, their growing middle class fanbase is made up of pretend socialists who hate the traditions the ordinary decent working man of old proudly defended.
