i swear TO GOD if there would be ONE MORE MOVIE in my watchlist where i fear from the start that trusted adult of a traumatised girl is actually a perv, AND THE MOMENT i relax and think 'oh, thank god, i was just paranoic' HE SAYS SOMETHING AWFUL or kisses her or whatever, i will KILL myself. there's, like, three tons of this thing over and over and over and it's so tiring. stop doing this to me, life. it feels like I've watched hundreds of such movies when i seeked and hoped for comforting coming-of-age story where someone helps a troubled teenager
