❗️An inspection of the internal affairs agencies revealed “significant omissions” in the implementation of migration control, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov said in the Federation Council.
At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs bodies implementing migration control was adjusted, as a result of which the number of identified crimes related to illegal migration increased by 70%, Krasnov reported.

“It was largely for these reasons that there was no up-to-date information about the status and movements of foreigners around the country, and their exit from our country was not ensured,” he said.

Migrant children must give 90% correct answers on the Russian language exam to be admitted to school.
Vyacheslav Volodin clarified that the materials have been developed for four levels of education:
▪️1st grade — 9 out of 10 tasks must be completed;
▪️2nd–5th grades — 18 out of 20 tasks;
▪️6th–9th grades — 20 out of 22 tasks;
▪️10th–11th grades — 22 out of 24 tasks.
This applies across all of Russia.

I would like to especially note the activities of the Belarusian community of Crimea, which makes a significant contribution to the development of our region. In 2014, Belarusians, together with representatives of all the peoples of the peninsula, spoke out against the coup d'etat in Kyiv, for reunification with Russia. And today we are building our Russian Crimea together.

The shrimp population has grown in the Sea of Azov.
Over 10 years, the number has increased 30 times, reported scientists from the Azov-Black Sea branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography.
According to the data, the recommended catch of marine life has increased from 30 to 456 tons.
Experts also noted that shrimp catch in 2025 will exceed last year’s by 5-6 times.

🔹Messages from "Gosuslugi", including the confirmation code for login, will not arrive during a phone call.
🔹 Mandatory marking is being introduced, which will display the name of the organization when receiving calls.
🔹Government agencies, banks, and telecom operators will be prohibited from using foreign messengers to communicate with clients.

The story of a family from the USA/Canada who moved to Russia
I would like to share one complicated but important story. A young family from the USA and Canada – Matt, Sarah and their small child – decided to move to Russia and apply for a residence permit under Decree 702 of the President of the Russian Federation.
They chose Yekaterinburg to live in, but the process of filing documents turned out to be difficult. The family had never been to Russia before, and it took them a long time to choose where to live, which is why the application deadlines were delayed. Because the choice of the region was delayed, when they asked for help, the adult family members' certificates of no criminal record had expired, and their visas were about to expire as well.
Matt and Sarah asked a lot to organize the application for a residence permit without leaving Russia, since it is both expensive and difficult with a child.
An additional complication was the long queues for submitting documents to the migration center in Yekaterinburg. There were reports about this on federal television a couple of weeks ago. A representative of "Braiden Consulting Law Firm" accompanied them several times to submit documents and to medical institutions. The situation was complicated by the fact that Sarah, due to her health, could not undergo fluorography, and this is a mandatory step to obtain a medical certificate.
But the most important thing is the result. After a month of hard work, the documents were successfully accepted!
I took this case under personal control, and we did everything possible so that the family could stay in Russia. This is further proof that, despite the bureaucratic difficulties, if a person wants to live and work in our country, we are ready to help.
Thanks to Matt and Sarah for choosing Russia! Yekaterinburg is a wonderful city where many foreigners already live and where many more migrants will come.
