Liberal Party mythology claims the party was founded in 1944.
It’s more accurate to say in 1944 the redoubtable Robert Menzies merely rebadged the United Australia Party (same MPs, same party officials, same policy outlook and similar constitutions).
Yes Menzies ‘merged a dozen parties’ - but several of those parties were very recent splits from the disintegrating UAP. More significant is this - none of the other parties had a federal MP. The ‘merger’ spin was spin.
Same thing happened in 1931 when the Nationalists rebadged as UAP. Same thing happened in 1917 when the Commonwealth Liberal Party became the Nationalist Party.
Truth is, the organisation we know today as the Liberal Party was formed in 1909 when the heroic George Reid graciously retired from politics in exchange for a merger of the Free Trade Party and the Protectionist Party. Reid did so because Labor was rising fast and were then, fanatical ‘democratic socialists’ obsessed with nationalising industry.
Since then the worst result (for what we call the Liberal Party) was in the middle of WWII when it suffered a 13% swing. John Curtin was overseeing the reversal of Imperial Japan’s gains and so was popular.
Peter Dutton is on track for the worst primary vote since 1943. This is made worse because it’s not like the incumbent Labor PM has been a centrist like Bob Hawke. Albo’s Labor Left … and governs accordingly (Whitlam without grandeur etc).
Dutton doesn’t know what a woman is, apparently loves net zero (and Paris) … and wants to raise income tax. He disendorsed a candidate because the candidate (a frontline veteran) was so ‘extreme’ he had concerns about females serving on the frontline. Dutton’s team forced the heroic Jacinta Price to retract saying ‘Make Australia Great Again.’
As a result, many traditional Liberal/National voters are considering voting for a minor right party.
The purpose of this post is to say there are only two viable options on the minor right in NSW. Those parties are One Nation and the Libertarian Party.
If you are a loyal but disappointed Liberal/National voter, I encourage you to watch my maiden speech to parliament so you understand why the Libertarian Party has such brilliant ideas.
Vote 1 @craigkellyXXX on the NSW senate ballot paper and Libertarian candidates across the country.

"To wit, within 48 hours of a Fauci underling flagging a ZeroHedge article for review, we were banned from Twitter following an BuzzFeed hit piece by a reporter who was subsequently fired for plagiarism. In the ensuing weeks we were banned by Amazon and Google's ad platforms over content that had never been an issue until that point (and while we've made up with Google, Amazon continues to blacklist ZeroHedge - probably for continuing to make fun of Jeff Bezos' dick-shaped rocket playing second fiddle to SpaceX).
Months later, Twitter restored our account - citing an "error" (as lab-leak evidence coincidentally began to pile up elsewhere)."

🚨Study Pub May 2024-Australian Scientists find asymptomatic heart scaring/sequela in adolescents more than one year after developing myocarditis following mRNA Vaccines. Despite decreased, majority still showed LGE, warn potential long-term consequences of fibrosis are unknown.
"Majority of the patients had fibrosis on CMR after 1 year follow up with a decrease in LGE intensity or distribution compared to their acute CMR studies."
"While it is heartening to note that all patients have remained well, the potential long-term consequences of fibrosis are unknown and warrant further surveillance."

"Many thanks to my datamigo Liz for her continued brilliance and back-and-forthing.
Here’s the original chart that I produced yesterday. In a few words, the two trajectories represent the autism rates as per CDC data from 1970-2025 (in red), and the cumulative number of shots that one would expect to have been injected with per year from 1920-2025 (in blue)."
