Kidflix, one of the largest paedophile platforms in the world, has been shut down in an international operation against child sexual exploitation. The investigation was supported by Europol and led by the State Criminal Police of Bavaria (Bayerisches Landeskriminalamt) and the Bavarian Central Office for the Prosecution of Cybercrime (ZCB). Over 35 countries worldwide participated in the operation. Nearly 1,400 users in about 40 countries have been identified.
It is the German police who have initiated the raid on "Kidflix" – a platform on Darknet that has functioned as a kind of Netflix for child abuse material. In Germany, two children have been identified so far, including an 11-year-old girl from North Rhine-Westphalia.
Swedish police have struck against 15 individuals who were customers of a streaming service for child pornography. The raid is part of a record-large international operation against the platform and its users. Thirteen suspects were identified in the Netherlands. The TBKK conducted searches of five suspects, seizing various data carriers.
