🚨 Following a visit by the lawyer of the prisoner Abdullah Al-Barghouti, it was revealed that he is subjected to deliberate and systematic torture where he endures severe and prolonged daily beatings with rifle butts and iron batons while handcuffed.

The beatings have left horrifying marks on his body, with all his bones suffering from fractures and intense pain, leaving him unable to stand or move.

He is suffering from painful boils and open wounds without receiving any medical treatment. Fellow prisoners in his section help him by disinfecting his wounds with dishwashing liquid, amid a complete absence of healthcare and treatment.

He cannot sleep lying down due to the severity of the fractures and pain; instead, he sleeps while sitting. His weight has dropped by over 50 kilograms, demonstrating the medicinal negligence and starvation policies in the prisons.

🚨 The IOF launched a wide-scale raid campaign across the West Bank and Al-QUds, targeting a large number of homes. The forces turned the home of citizen Jamal Dawoud in #Qalqilya into a military post. Several former prisoners were arrested and interrogated in the field for hours.

Among them the prisoner Margaret Al-Ra'i (media 1) who was released in the last exchange deal and a worker with the Palestinian Red Crescent. Four young men remain in detention: Younes Hourani, Abdullah Walwil, Youssef Al-Ila, and Amr Ghassan Khader. (media 2,3,4,5)

The IOF arrested the father and brother of released prisoner Sultan Khallouf from Burqin, #Jenin, to pressure him to turn himself in. This is the third time his father was arrested in three weeks. (media 6)

The IOF arrested teenager Izz Al-Din Karaja and child Aws Imad Al-Tawil from the village of Deir Bazi’, west of #Ramallah, while they were in the Ein Bubin area last night. (media 7,8)

Occupation forces arrested 14-year-old child Ahmad Khaled Al-Alami from the town of Beit Ummar, north of #AlKhalil, after severely beating him and taking him to an unknown location last night.

Occupation forces arrest citizen Issam Al-Antouri, the father of freed prisoner Mu’tasim Al-Antouri—who was released in the recent prisoner exchange deal—after storming his house in Qalqilya. (media 9)

Occupation forces arrested Rima Balawi on 25 February 2025, when she was pregnant in the 3rd month.
Rima is pregnant with her 3rd child and is currently held in Damon prison, away from her 2 daughters Yafa (7) and Lamar (5).

Rima is one of 14 mothers held in Damon prison and is facing deliberate medical negligence, which is even more dangerous for her due to her pregnancy.

We demand the immediate release of Rima Balawi and of all Palestinian prisoners!

The Popular Front Mourns Its Freed Prisoner Comrade Ali Nidal Al-Sarafiti

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, in the name of its Secretary-General, his deputy, and members of the Political Bureau and Central Committee, mourns to the masses of our Palestinian people the freed prisoner and militant comrade, Ali Nidal Husni Al-Sarafiti “Abu Nidal” (44 years old), who was martyred at dawn today along with his wife Nermin and their children Nidal, Husni, and Sarah, in a treacherous zionist airstrike that targeted their home in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest Gaza City. His name now joins the eternal procession of our people’s martyrs.

The martyr was born on November 1, 1981, and joined the ranks of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in 1997, dedicating his youth to the cause of his people, carrying the cause of prisoners and committed to the revolutionary and resistant line of the Front.

He was a steadfast fighter who never wavered, dedicating his life to the service of his people's causes, a fearless voice for prisoners and the oppressed, sincere in his affiliation, beloved by his comrades, and respected by all who knew him.
He was arrested by the occupation during the Al-Aqsa Intifada while attempting to carry out a martyrdom operation, and was sentenced to 13 years, which he served in the occupation's prisons with unwavering resolve and determination. After his release, he resumed his path of struggle, taking a leadership role in Gaza Governorate and actively participating in the Popular Activities Committee.

He soon became a sincere voice of the prisoners’ movement, being one of the most active members of the Front’s Prisoners’ Committee, taking part in events, sit-ins, and hunger strikes in support of prisoners. He was elected at the 7th branch conference as a member of the Gaza Branch’s Central Committee.

Comrade Ali has departed in body, but his spirit remains alive in the memory of his comrades. His contributions will be a beacon for generations continuing the path toward liberation and return.

As we in the Popular Front extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, comrades, and all who loved him, we affirm that the blood of the martyrs will remain the fuel of our journey. We pledge to remain on the same path until the occupation is defeated, freedom and independence are achieved, and all of Palestine is liberated—from its river to its sea—with Al-Quds as its capital.

Glory and eternity to Comrade Ali and all the martyrs, and victory to our people and their valiant resistance.

Nael Barghouti, the longest-held Palestinian prisoner to have been released, who was freed by the resistance in the prisoner exchanges and was deported to Egypt:

🚨 Update: The occupation forces released dozens of detainees after interrogating and abusing them at the home of freed prisoner Nael Barghouti, which they turned into a military barracks in the village of Kobar, north of #Ramallah.

Nael's wife, Iman Nafeh, commented on the situation: "It was a message to Nael—and of course, a message to all the resistance fighters—that ‘We are watching you.’
They’re saying, ‘We can’t reach you directly, but we can reach your family.’ So the message to Nael, through me, is that if you do anything outside that harms the occupation, they will respond to it like this."

"The detainee's hands were handcuffed — I mean, at the very last moment you could see their hands were cuffed behind their backs, their eyes blindfolded, and they were placed on the floor, like wherever in the house. They were even held in the storage room, and the storage room was hot too. You saw the temperature, it was just pure oppression."

🚨 The IOF launched a wide-scale arrest campaign in Kobar, north of #Ramallah.

The occupation arrested, abused, and interrogated over 30 Palestinians at the home of freed Palestinian Nael Barghouti, which it turned into a military barracks.

Among the arrested are freed prisoner Hanan Al-Barghouti and Asif al-Barghouti, son of the late leader Omar al-Barghouti (Abu Asif).

Israeli occupation responsible for fate of ill Palestinian detainee

Ramallah, Palestine - The Palestinian Prisoner's Society holds the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the life and fate of ill Palestinian political detainee, 25-year-old Hussam Naji Zakarneh, who was hospitalized in recent days.

Zakarneh has been held under Israel’s so-called administrative detention, without trial or charge, since his arrest on August 21, 2024 from his home in Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.

He faced a serious setback to his health due to a tumor found in his stomach based on medical examinations after he was transferred from the notorious Megiddo Prison where he was being held, to the Afula Hospital.

Based on a recent visit to Zakarneh in Megiddo, the detainee was unable to drink water or even consume small bites of the food provided to prisoners. He suffers from continuous vomiting, severe abdominal pain, and as a result, has experienced significant weight loss, now weighing only 37 kilograms. According to the lawyer who visited him, Zakarneh was unable to speak during the visit and showed signs of extreme exhaustion.

Israeli occupation authorities often only transfer Palestinian detainees for medical treatment when it is too late, raising serious questions about the life and fate of Zakarneh. Megiddo central prison has been a landmark in Israel’s crimes, abuse and torture against Palestinian political detainees, with many prisoners being killed both directly and indirectly behind its bars.

Zakarneh is one of hundreds of ill prisoners in Israeli jails. The spread of diseases among prisoners has become a central issue, presenting significant challenges for prisoner institutions to follow up on medical cases in prisons. He is facing a complex crime, starting with his continued detention without trial or charge, the harsh and abusive conditions of his confinement, and the denial of necessary medical treatment.

Occupation prison authorities are weaponizing the spread of scabies and refuse to eradicate it or provide detainees with the means to. The disease is particularly prominent in the Megiddo and Naqab prisons, and causes further complications if not treated. We warn once again of an imminent health crisis in these two prisons.

No clear count of the number of sick prisoners exists due to the widespread nature of diseases and intentionally unsanitary conditions. Every prisoner suffers from at least one health issue as a result of torture, starvation, medical negligence, physical assaults and mistreatment—not to mention the severe psychological effects they endure.

The number of Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli jails as of early April 2025 exceeds 9,900 people, including 3,498 held under administrative detention in the occupied West Bank without trial or charge.

For the third time in a row, the Zionist illegitimate Ofer Military Court renewed the administrative detention order (imprisonment without charge or trial on the basis of a so-called "secret file") against the 14-year-old Palestinian boy, Ammar Sobhi Muhammad Abdul Karim, from the village of Abwein in the Ramallah district, for a period of four months.

The occupation forces abducted the child Abdul Karim on August 21, 2024, after raiding his family's home, blowing up the doors of the house, destroying its contents, and assaulting him by beating and tying him up, before transferring him to Ofer prison. A few days later, he was transferred to administrative detention. Administrative detention orders are indefinitely renewable, and both the detainees and their lawyers have no access to the allegations against them. There are currently over 3,500 Palestinians held under administrative detention, out of approximately 10,000 Palestinian political prisoners in Zionist jails. (excepting a number of Palestinians abducted from Gaza whose names and locations of detention continue to be kept secret by the occupation.)

Ammar is considered the youngest administrative detainee in the occupation's prisons, where approximately 100 children are held under arbitrary administrative detention.

Restoring the Liberation of Palestine, by Ibrahim Mar'i Hamed

The following article, by Palestinian prisoner and national leader Ibrahim Mar’i Hamed, was originally published in September 2023 (prior to Al-Aqsa Flood) in Arabic by the Journal of Palestine Studies (Majallat al-Dirasat al-Falastiniya). We are republishing it in translation in order to advance the project of confronting the isolation of imprisoned Palestinians by the Zionist regime, which seeks to deny the Palestinian and Arab people — and the world as a whole — access to their ideas, thoughts, analysis and leadership.

Ibrahim Mar’i Hamed, from Silwad in the West Bank of occupied Palestine, is one of the most prominent political and resistance leaders of the Palestinian liberation movement currently imprisoned in occupation jails, and like Ahmad Sa’adat, Marwan Barghouti, Abdullah Barghouti, Abbas al-Sayyed, Hassan Salameh, Mahmoud al-Ardah and other leadership figures, the Zionist regime has repeatedly refused to release him in a prisoner exchange with the resistance. He is serving 54 life sentences in occupation prisons, the second highest sentence of all Palestinian prisoners, for leading the Al-Qassam Brigades in the West Bank.

"When Palestinians drafted their solemn founding charters, to which they swore, and often described at the time as the “Bible of the Revolution,” they were liberation charters and nothing else. The original 1964 Palestinian National Charter, written during Ahmad al-Shuqeiri’s leadership, included the term liberation 22 times across 29 articles, excluding any use of the words “free,” “freedom,” or “free people.” The revised National Charter, which updated the earlier version, mentioned the term liberation 34 times in 34 articles. It is striking that neither charter mentioned, or even merely alluded to, the concept of a “state” or “Palestinian state” as a goal the Palestinians sought to achieve. Rather, articles in both charters explicitly and consciously affirmed that no mission superseded that of liberation—even if that mission were an entity or a state.

The process of replacing the sacred goal of liberating Palestine (as its sanctity was literally stated in Article 13 of the Palestinian National Charter, and Article 15 of the Palestinian National Covenant) with other secondary, “less sacred” goals—goals that became subject to possible negotiation—was carried out through a process of “rationalizing” and domesticating the Palestinians. This process relied primarily on beating them down to the point where they would “learn the lesson” well enough to veer and incline toward “realism.”...

The mistake of the Palestinian political thought that leaned toward “realism”—which in many cases resembled passivity—was that it sought to avoid asking the questions that would lead to proper conclusions and answers. If the exit from Jordan made us realize the limits of our strength—or rather the extent of our weakness—then the real, realistic question should have been: What is the remedy for the weak?

The simplified answer is: to become strong!

And the deeper question is: How can we attain the desired strength under the conditions of the current reality of the 20th and 21st centuries? Rather than reinforcing and eternalizing our weakness—as has happened under the logic of “political realism” that emerged after the exit from Jordan and moved only in a single direction..."

Testimonies of Resistance (2004)

A book written by the martyr prisoner, intellectual, and PFLP comrade Walid Daqqa that documents the resistance's experience in Jenin Camp during the 2002 Battle of Jenin through accounts and testimonies of several resistance fighters who participated and were then arrested by the occupation. The writing provides testimonies of prisoners Ali Al-Safouri, Abdul Jabbar Khalil Khabas, Yahya Mohammad Al-Zubeidi, and Jamal Huwail, reflecting the camp's struggle experience during the 2002 invasion.

🚨 Ahmed Manasra will be released from zionist prisons this weekend with the completion of his 9.5 year sentence, including over 2 years in solitary confinement.

Ahmed's solitary confinement ended in March 2025, six months after it was supposed to. Ahmed suffered from torture, abuse, and isolation, as well as loss of vision (due to lack of sunlight) and mental illness due to his solitary confinement. The zionist prison administration also provided him with contaminated food and prevented his family from sending him money to buy food from the cantina.

He was abducted at 13 years old in 2015.
