HTS Arrests Former 2011 "Rebel Leader" Khattab Najjar

Reports confirm the arrest of Khattab Najjar, a key figure from the 2011 Syrian uprising and former commander of the Elite Division in Aleppo and the Tawhid Brigade. Najjar, who is currently a senior leader in the Sultan Murad Division, was detained by HTS.

Sources indicate that his arrest was due to alleged dealings with a judge from Al-Boutchi who was known to have ties with the SDF.

Tartous | Van & Criminals Responsible For Abductions on Video

A black Hyundai H1 with the phrase "There is no god but God" written in white on the back has been roaming around Tartous, abducting men and later dumping them in different locations across the city and one near Jableh.

Victims and eyewitness from these abductions indicate that the vehicle has Idlib license plates and was last spotted on the Tartous-Homs road, near Qatragi gas station. One of the men appears around 40 years old, and another individual was seen driving.

Additional suspicious vehicles reported in connection with these abductions include a black Tucson (black plate), a gray Kia Rio (black plate), and a gray Kia Spectra (black plate, old Cerato model).

Tartous | Young Man Kidnapped & Later Released

Ram Wael Hamed, a resident of Al-Arid Street, Tartous, was reported missing earlier today after heading to a private lesson. His phone was switched off, raising fears of yet another sectarian-motivated killing.

After Hours of Uncertainty, contact was re-established through a video call in which Ram appeared in a shrine in Jableh.

He was in a state of shock but appeared physically unharmed. His family and HTS representatives are now heading to retrieve him.

While his safe return is a relief, the incident underscores the growing pattern of forced disappearances and sectarian targeting in the region.

Online Telegram groups have reported the death of Qassem Jamous, known as "Abu Watan", who incited violence against minorities. His laryngeal surgery was unsuccessful, with other reports linking his condition to HIV-related complications. Jamous gained notoriety among the takfiri types for appearing in videos chanting sectarian slogans, including his infamous call: "We’re coming to Karbala", inciting against Shiites and Alawites. Shia Man Killed After Abduction and Torture

Hassan Issa Jardo, 45 years old, was abducted by HTS militants on February 16, 2025, from the Al-Bayada area in Homs.

His body was later handed over to his family from Karm Al-Lawz Hospital, but with a manipulated cause of death. Upon seeing the body is was clear he had signs of torture, beatings and was killed with a gunshot to the head.

Relatives state that the HTS-alligned forensic doctor refused to document the true cause of death, instead, under the supervision of HTS militia members, the official report falsely attributed his death to "internal bleeding."

This deliberate falsification of medical records points to a systematic effort by Al-Julani’s regime to conceal evidence of its sectarian killings. Mr. Hassan Issa Jardo was a resident of Al-Jneinat village and belonged to the Shia sect.
