According to Al-Manar correspondent, a day after the (extended) set date for the supposed "israeli" occupation withdrawal from South Lebanon, an "israeli" enemy force consisting of two Merkava tanks opened fire on the Lebanese army center in the Birket al-Naqqar area south of the town of Shebaa. No casualties inflicted.
A second force, accompanied by a military bulldozer, also closed a road near the withdrawal line.

Statement by the Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Hajj Mohammad Raad, regarding the Zionist aggression on Nabatiye al-Faouqa and Zawtar yesterday.

The treacherous and condemned Zionist aggression on the Southern towns of Nabatiye al-Faouqa and Zawtar last night is yet another testament to the constant and ongoing threat that the "israeli" entity poses to our people, our country, and the security and stability of all the peoples and states of our region.
The constant international disregard to the violations of this usurping entity and its persistence in aggression has led it to its current state of arrogance, recklessness, and blatant disregard for all rules, standards, and international and humanitarian laws.
This confirms and strengthens our conviction—as well as the conviction of all free peoples around the world—of their legitimate right to assume national and moral responsibility, resist aggression, and confront the aggressors.
The right of our people in Lebanon to confront occupation and "israeli" aggression is a legitimate and sacred right, exercised at the time and place they deem appropriate to thwart the enemy’s objectives and safeguard Lebanon’s security, sovereignty, and interests.
It is only natural for the will of our resistant people to align with the efforts of the state and its relevant institutions when they fulfill their duty to protect the people and the country. This is what we aspire to in Lebanon and what we call for with anticipation, hope, and realism.

It's important to always clarify that when we mention that an area is north of the Litani River upon an "israeli" attack there, it is not to justify any "israeli" attacks south of the river. The mere existence of "israel" anywhere and everywhere is a crime and a violation.
Mentioning north or south of the Litani River is merely for the purpose of pointing out the uselessness of UN resolutions, in this case, UNSCR 1701. In simpler terms, it's to prove a point before those who still believe in the UN, and to highlight their double standards. It should never be misunderstood as a justification of any attack anywhere else, especially south of the river.

• On the request to extend the 60-day period until the 18th of February: It is impossible for us to accept this. Does the US expect for a people with this much honor and dignity to accept this?! They may want to go to their tools who follow their commands with no hesitation. But not us.
• The Resistance holds the right to take any measures deemed necessary before the occupation that continues to attack and refuses to withdraw. We decide the time, nature, and means of confrontation.
• The continuation of the occupation is an aggression on our sovereignty, and everyone is responsible for confronting it; the government, the people, the Resistance, political parties, and all sects.
• The equation of "army, people, Resistance" is the equation that prevented the "israeli" occupation from reaching Beirut, and even to just South of the Litani River.
• The national [Shia] duo achieved the consensual presidential option by electing President Joseph Aoun. Without the participation of the duo, the president would not have been elected in this manner that expressed national unity. Today, we are not the ones placing obstacles in the path of creating a cabinet of ministers.
• We have already begun the process of rebuilding and have assessed and compensated over 270,000 units. I must thank the Jihad-ul Binaa' Association for its efforts. What we have achieved so far is even better than in 2006, and we have more work to do.

Highlights of Sheikh Naim Kassem's speech: (1/2)

• The "israeli" aggression on Lebanon and Gaza was supported by the United States and the West. This aggression had no limits or regulations. It targeted humans, land, buildings, trees, everything!
• The Resistance in Lebanon thwarted this aggression in a heroic epic. Its Mujahideen were self-sacrificing heroes.
• We faced the most difficult days in our history from the 27th of September until the 7th of October, 2024. After that, we began to recover quickly and firmly.
• The enemy failed to, save for a few meters, enter Lebanese territory during the confrontations. When all doors were closed in their face, the "Israeli" enemy, through the United States, sought a ceasefire. They especially sought it after failing to create any internal strife or crush the Resistance.
• I chose to speak to the people of the Resistance openly and honestly today. To clarify, the people of the Resistance includes not only the close circle, but every supporter of the Resistance, whether they be in Lebanon, the region, and the world.
• The people of the Resistance were shocked to witness the level of harm that was inflicted on it, by losing such a huge number of leaders in a short period of time, especially Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. We were shocked too.
• The level of military preparedness the Resistance accumulated across the years gave the impression that the Resistance can maintain a prolonged and decisive state of deterrence for the enemy, and that the Resistance is able to decisively defeat the enemy militarily in a single blow. This is not true, because we will never possess equal military capabilities as the enemy.
• The enemy's intelligence capabilities, control over communications, and the complete aerial blockade by the enemy gives them an advantage. Thus, we are carrying out a thorough assessment of the events that took place in order to learn and extract lessons.
• The Resistance is strong with its decisions, will, and the faith of the believers. The Resistance is strong because it continues regardless of the severe blows that it suffers.
• We agreed to the ceasefire since the aggressor wanted it, and we were not the ones who had started the war to begin with. Additionally, we agreed to it since the Lebanese state took it upon itself to expel "israel" and defend the borders. This was an excellent opportunity for the state to carry out its responsibilities and examine its capabilities politically.
• We practiced restraint before the 1,350 “israeli" breaches of the ceasefire agreement despite feeling very violated. We discussed responding to the breaches with the Lebanese authority, but we were asked to remain patient until the 60 days were over, as our responses would receive the same treatment as hundreds of "israeli" breaches.
• We were victorious because we stood strong, returned to our land, and the occupier *will* be expelled! The Resistance did not abandon the field, and it remains strong and firm.
• The promoters of the ceasefire agreement, the United States, do not only fail to fulfill their role before the "israeli" breaches, they even support and allow them! The US and the UN are responsible for any continued breaches of the ceasefire agreement.
• What is happening in Lebanon is proof that Lebanon needs the Resistance. When the Mujahideen stood before the enemy, the enemy failed to enter our land. The opposite occurred when the Resistance was not there.
• There was a very violent campaign waged against us to portray the Resistance as defeated, even internally. I know that some of those may have gotten a heart attack upon witnessing that the Resistance was in fact not defeated.
• Loud and clear: the Resistance is victorious! It is victorious with the crowds of honorable people who flooded their towns and faced the enemy with nothing but their flesh and bones!

Despite the arrogance of its cowardly soldiers, you marched toward your villages, at whose gates the enemy's objectives have been shattered, and its tanks had been set ablaze by the hands of your heroic sons in the Islamic Resistance.
The bodies of the martyrs, sown in the soil, feel the echo of your footsteps today, and their purified souls hover around the banner that has not been broken—a banner you carry as you march toward a victory you have created, just as you have been the creators of every triumph.
O our people and our loved ones... Your crossing yesterday and today, before our eyes that continue to guard, was the crossing of the confident victors. We bow our heads and offer the salute of arms, Jihad, and Resistance to every mother, father, brother, sister, elderly, and young child, in the name of each one of us, and in the name of the souls of the martyrs who watered the homeland's soil with their blood.
Peace be upon you, upon your patience, your loyalty, and your victory, and may the blessings and victory (Nasr) of Allah be upon you. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

An army is meant to be a source of security and confidence for the people, not an institution that not only lacks the ability to defend itself, but also complies with the enemy's threats and orders!

The Lebanese Army evacuated its outposts in South Lebanon during the "israeli" enemy's ground invasion due to its inability to defend itself. The army is only returning to what remains of these outposts now, but only after confirmation from the UNIFIL that they can enter certain villages.
Netanyahu's office claimed that the enemy army intends to extend the 60-day period on the pretext that the Lebanese Army has not deployed in all the designated points. The Lebanese Army has had to wait on the outskirts of several villages for the "israeli" enemy army to withdraw before being able to enter and deploy in the village.
This is a vicious cycle and a dirty scheme that is being played by the US and "israel" in South Lebanon, with the help of their tools in the country.

Everything happening in South Lebanon stands as proof, day after another, before every collaborator against the Resistance that the Resistance is a continued necessity to defend Lebanon. Those who are honest in their statements against the "israeli" breaches against Lebanon in its South must admit this truth. Otherwise, they must accept their titles as collaborators with the enemy.

Why the Resistance practiced restraint during this period was for several reasons, some that are unknown, and some of which were explained by Hezbollah officials, including the Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Kassem, including giving the ceasefire agreement a chance to succeed.
Why Hezbollah's statements, including the most recent one, did not include threats to the enemy and instead addressed the Lebanese state and international community is also due to several reasons, including holding everyone accountable for not fulfilling their duties. Through such statements, the state's failure to defend its territories and sovereignty is clearly presented, and the complicity of the international community is exposed.
Additionally, on the 2nd of December, 2024, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon responded to the many "israeli" breaches of the ceasefire agreement after less than a week of the start of its implementation. The Resistance labeled this operation as an "initial warning and defensive response." At the end of the statement announcing the operation, Hezbollah warned, "He who has warned is excused [from what is to come]."
About a month later, on the 10th of January, 2025, Hezbollah SG Sheikh Naim Kassem warned that Hezbollah's patience before the "israeli" breaches may run out before or after the 60-day period ends.
Threats have already been issued, and tomorrow marks the last day of the 60-day period. We wait to see what will happen if the enemy continues its breaches on Monday.

Hezbollah issued the following statement:

It is a glorious day of God, a majestic scene of glory and dignity written by the great people of the Resistance, who have proven once again that they are the people rooted in their land, clinging to every grain of soil in it, the faithful guardians of the nation’s sovereignty, and who do not bow before any threat or aggression.

Since 2000 until today, the scene is repeated, as our people prove that they are the true leaders of the path to victory. With their heroic Resistance, they defeat the enemy once more, confirming that there is no place for an occupier in this blessed land, in which every grain of soil has been watered with the blood of martyrs.

The scene of the returnees to their villages, carrying pictures of the martyrs and banners of the Resistance, embodies the highest meanings of steadfastness, resilience, and victory. It affirms that this people, with their indomitable will and unwavering determination, represent the strongest weapon of the Resistance—an enduring strength that our beloved martyr, the leader of the nation’s martyrs, his eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may Allah's mercy be upon him), has always described as "the point of strength that no one can defeat." The people of the Resistance have proven their loyalty to their pure blood, and no matter the might of the invaders, they remain incapable of standing firm against this blessed popular surge that, with its steps and direction, has charted a singular path: the liberation of the land and the final expulsion of the occupier.

We, in Hezbollah, bow in reverence before the greatness of the people of the Resistance and affirm that the equation of "the army, the people, and the Resistance"—which protects Lebanon from the treachery of enemies—is not merely ink on paper. Rather, it is a reality that the Lebanese live daily and embody through their steadfastness and sacrifices.

We call on all Lebanese to stand united with their brothers and sisters in the South, so that together, we may renew the spirit of national solidarity and build true sovereignty, marked by liberation and victory. We emphasize that the international community, led by the countries sponsoring the agreement, is now required to fulfill its responsibilities in the face of "israeli" violations and crimes, and to compel the enemy to fully withdraw from our lands.

We salute the souls of the martyrs and the wounded who paved the path to liberation and victory with their blood. We consider these great moments that our nation is experiencing today to be a reaffirmation that Lebanon, with its people, Resistance, and free people, is a nation of pride and dignity.

Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah in Bent Jbeil today was asked by Al-Manar: Why does Hezbollah keep giving the state more chances after it has proven its failure to defend the people?
His answer was: We have always called for the establishment of a strong, capable, and just state. This is not new. We will not stop calling for the establishment of this state when it fails to take advantage of these chances. No one should think that we make these statements because the Resistance is weak. I assure the people that their Resistance is fine and still very capable, but people cannot live in a country where the state has no authority, where there is no justice, where there are groups that depend on external parties to attempt the abolition of others.

Statement issued by Hezbollah regarding the new US administration’s inclusion of the Ansarullah movement on the “terrorist list”

Hezbollah condemns the new US administration’s re-listing of the Ansarullah movement on the so-called “US terrorism lists,” and considers it an unjust classification and a direct attack on the oppressed Yemeni people who have suffered and continue to suffer from the siege, terrorism, and ongoing US aggression on their land and capabilities for years.

Hezbollah considers that the successive American governments that have practiced and continue to practice terrorism against the peoples of our nation and support the Zionist entity, its terrorist attacks and its hideous criminal wars, especially in Lebanon and Palestine, are the most deserving of inclusion on the terrorism lists.

This unjust American decision, which comes in the context of supporting the crumbling "israeli" entity, will not deter the honorable Yemen from continuing its support for the Palestinian people in their just cause, nor will it change its convictions and determination to confront American and "israeli" ambitions in the region.

Hezbollah expresses its pride and appreciation for the honorable role played by the Ansarullah movement in support of Gaza, as it played a major role in strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian Resistance, and was a partner in the victory over the Zionist enemy, and affirms its firm confidence that this people will continue on the path of steadfastness and Resistance.
