What pissed me off so much is that there were people making fun of him, his inventions, and his aspirations in his channel, belittling him since his creations are “too simple.” These are the same people who have no aspirations and all they do is just rot and waste their lives.
Kids like him should grow up to attend universities like MIT, hone their skills and become globally famous. The question is, are we as a country doing enough to support ambitious people like him?

On Gap Years
"But you will lose a year." That was my parent's main argument against me taking a gap year. Surely I convinced them at the end, but I am more than confident that it is not me or my friends experiencing the same problem, but literally everyone.
Losing a year. Mom. Dad. I am not going to a prison. I am not being put in a time capsule that would make my self-growth impossible. Or I am not time travelling to appear back exactly a year later on the same day. In this period that we call a gap year, I am progressing. I am learning more. More about myself. And more about the world. Possibly more than I would have if I had gone to college right away. Gap year is not a prison capsule.
Losting time? Am I on a race? Am I getting late to anything? Am I competing with someone? I would say no, of course. Others may think otherwise, but I remain steadfast. If any competition exists, that is against myself. And gap year is the optimal running track to outrun yourself, your prejudiced worldviews, biased assumptions.
