Fun fact: the Long Island Tea didn’t originate in Long Island, NY. It was first made down here in Appalachia, in Kingsport, TN.
There was a contest years back between a bar in Kingsport and a bar in Long Island, and the Kingsport bar won, making a much more appealing LIT to the judges.
Maybe this is why I have always been partial to this hangover in a glass lol…

A wild grapevine, extremely large, wrapped around a beech tree up in Southwest Virginia. The vine is estimated to be around 200 years old.
