Frankfurter soup with potatoes and savoy cabbage. A popular Czech recipe, here in the Hungarian version with Savoy cabbage.
Ingredients: Frankfurter or similar sausages, potato, onion, Savoy cabbage, hot Hungarian sausage, caraway seeds, black pepper, garlic, hot paprika.
The soup is simple, but the quality of the sausages is what will determine how healthy and nutritious this soup will be, so get the best you can find (go for beef or veal sausages if you can).
To reduce the amount of carbs and calories, you can replace the potato with turnip.
To make it thicker and creamier, you can add some sour cream once the soup has been cooked.

Here’s some perspective.
Your great grandparents wouldn’t even allow an undesirable lamppost in their local neighbourhood.

42% of adult Americans are obese. Many like to blame it on food industry, government regulations and whatnot, pointing out how things are much better in Europe.
Well… 17% of adult Asian Americans are obese. That’s on par with Sweden.
They live in the same country.
Where do they get their food from?

Cauliflower and hot pepper puree with chicken.
The puree: Cooked cauliuflower blended with hot pepper puree, ricotta and egg for smoother texture (I blended a raw egg in the cooked puree while still hot).
Served with chicken sauteed in olive oil and paprika and topped with some grated Pecorino cheese and chopped parsley.

Speaking of relationships, I don’t know many couples who’d have planned “cheat days” in theirs, do you?
I mean something like the popular 80/20 rule; “I want you to be faithful from Monday to Friday, but when you go out on weekends, you can have some fun and fuck whoever you want.”
I’m not sure how many of you would see that as a healthy relationship, so why do the same thing with your diet? There’s no such thing as 80% commitment; you either are committed to what you do or you’re not.

“It’s nuts that stores or aisles with ‘healthy food’ are a thing.
Nobody ever wonders; ‘If this is healthy food, then what the fuck is everything else?’”

On January 2nd I posted the following text here:
"InBody time or the moment of truth.
After 3 months of "bulking", I'm some 8 kg / 18 lbs heavier and have 9.8% body fat.
Which is the same BF% as I had in December 2023, only back then my weight was 84.6 kg / 186.5 lbs.
My record low BF% was at the end of April 2024, when I had 5.7% BF - the actual weight of this fat was 4.6 kg or 10.8 lbs.
My weight in April was 85.7 kg or 190 lbs.
Hypothetically, if I now manage to reduce the amount of fat back to the same numbers without losing muscle mass, it should result in 90 kg / 198.5 lbs body weight and 5.4 % body fat.
My weight limit is for classic bodybuilding 91 kg / 200.5 lbs and 95 kg / 209.5 lbs for classic physique.
I can compete in both categories at the same time.
When it comes to planning the cut, if it's true that one needs to burn about 7000 calories to lose 1 kg of fat, I need to be in 30,000 kcal deficit over the course of the next three months, which translates to a deficit of 335 kcal / day.
Doable? I think so..."
It's April and according to my today's InBody scan, I weigh 89.5 kg and have 4.2 kg or 4.6% body fat.
Which means that my three month prediction was off by less than 1 kg and 1%.
What does this show? Most people don’t get to this point not because they don’t know what to do but simply because they don’t do it (or at least not for long enough).
I offer what I believe is pretty affordable coaching/mentoring, but as they say, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink". It doesn't matter what I tell or show you, at the end of the day, you have to do the work, I can't do it for you. But as you can see, it's more than doable. So why not just do it?
This summer, you can be in the best shape of your life. Or not. I have shown you the way, now it's up to you to walk it.

When people talk about “healthy relationship with food”, I wonder whether they’d stay in a relationship with an abusive person who would constantly hurt them and prevent them from achieving their goals and describe it as “healthy”.

Swordfish steak in lemon oil infused almond crust, served on agretti sauteed in olive oil, bergamot zest and toasted pine nuts.
I decided to go for a breaded steak for a change, but after coating it in flour, I whisked the egg with some essential lemon oil and instead of breadcrumbs I used almond flour.
The greens, which come from Italy and are called agretti, are sauteed in olive oil and mixed with toasted and crushed pine nuts, freshly grated bergamot zest and some olive oil.
