The UK’s Online Safety Act officially came into force two weeks ago, and they have wasted no time using it.
Alternative social media network Gab has already been threatened with a massive fine for its supposed failures to “police speech” on its platform. Anecdotes are piling up, small forums and communities blocking access from the UK for fear of attracting OfCom’s ire and the like.
But rest assured, an OfCom spokesperson promised the Telegraph they would “only take action where it is proportionate and appropriate”. So that’s alright.

Am citit pe îndelete raportul TikTok solicitat de Comisia Europeană pentru investigarea comportamentului companiei prin prisma pachetului legislativ european Digital Services Act. Ceea ce este șocant este faptul că TikTok confirmă în acel raport cenzura pe care a aplicat-o împotriva cetățenilor României. Se vorbește despre fact checking și despre faptul că, în aplicarea acestor politici, compania utilizează know how-ul oferit de - țineți-vă bine! - Funky Citizens. Cu alte cuvinte, întreaga activitate a TikTok România este cenzurată de organizația sorosistă care apare în raport.
Ceea ce se mai susține acolo e faptul că au existat câteva zeci sau sute de conturi eliminate care, maxim, pot fi calificate drept operațiuni marginale. M-aș fi așteptat - după ecourile în presa sorosistă autohtonă - să găsesc acolo milioane de postări suspecte, sute de mii de conturi fantomă s.a.m.d. Aiurea, activitatea evidențiată în raport este una pe care rețelele sociale o combat curent pentru a-și proteja interesele(ceva manipulări de like-uri și roboți eliminați din sistem). Cu alte cuvinte, absolut nimic spectaculos, doar o furtună într-un pahar cu apă.
Aștept însă cu o deosebită curiozitate ca autoritățile române să arate:
- actorul politic statal despre care spun că a deturnat alegerile
- modul în care s-au schimbat opțiunile cetățenilor întrucât în legislația noastră neregulile electorale se referă la modul de numărare a voturilor și la tentativele de falsificare a acestora.
Ideea e cât se poate de simplă: pe măsură ce trece timpul, NU SE UITĂ, așa cum și-ar dori cei din grupul infracțional care a anulat alegerile, ci se adună dovezi din ce în ce mai irefutabile asupra abuzului comis. Ceea ce înseamnă că, mai devreme sau mai târziu, toți cei din grupul infracțional menționat vor plăti. Nu-mi spuneți că nu se va întâmpla așa. O să vedeți că am avut dreptate și de data asta!
