Gifts Are Rising
🎁 The Wizard is closely watching how the gift market evolves — and now, dear hobbit, he shares his observations with you.
🎁 Currently, it’s noticeable that floor prices of some gift collections are being actively bought up. The priority? Collections with low supply.
Why is this happening, and who’s behind it?
To keep — and even grow — interest in Telegram gifts, someone must stoke the fire. It would be logical if Telegram had appointed a market maker for gifts. And most likely, it has. Especially since many gifts are sold below minting cost, as users love unwrapping them in search of rare treasures. So essentially, Telegram uses our own money to buy up the floor, maintaining hype and driving volume. And don’t forget — every gift transfer costs 25 stars. It’s very likely that, in the future, certain collections will be pumped on purpose, and the market maker will lock in profits on the heated market.
🙉 There’s nothing unusual about this — it’s the classic strategy used by exchanges. After all, each gift is a digital asset, much like a token. But in this case, it’s far more entertaining and beautiful. Ironically, the main beneficiary for now is the Tonnel marketplace, which isn’t directly owned by Telegram — and perhaps that’s for the best. After all, they say Telegram stands for democracy and a free market, right? 😂
🎁 Various bloggers are now shilling gifts, and collectors and flippers have entered the scene. The Wizard himself is building a collection, which he plans to sell piece by piece in the future.
🎁 Currently, the market favors gifts according to these traits (in order):
theme → collection → background → object → symbol.
Cosmic themes, Pepe frogs, devilish aesthetics, and crypto-related content are hot. Low-supply collections are in demand. Black backgrounds dominate. Gifts where the main object matches the background in color are popular. Objects with maximum animation sell better. Symbols are currently overlooked — there are hundreds, and most are blurry or unclear.
🎁 Gift stacking has a lesser effect on demand, but Mr. Freeman’s referral system is definitely fueling the floor sweep of cheap gifts. Bloggers are constantly organizing giveaways to win new referrals. Gift staking in the Tonnel marketplace offers passive income for holders of certain groups and helps earn referrals.
What our Persian friend will come up with next — or what new features Telegram will roll out — we don’t yet know. But the fact that gift releases are occasional and measured is definitely a good thing.
🎁 Ultimately, the main utility of gifts is simple and powerful: they decorate your profile. And now it seems the trend of customizing your Telegram account is about to take off. How long this will last is anyone’s guess — but for now, we’re clearly at the very beginning of the journey.
So, dear friends:
🎁 Share love and joy. Share gifts with each other.
