I love the easter bunny and i love calling it easter and how it coincides with the spring equinox, and i know Christ is smiling down on all the joy it brings children to hunt for colorful eggs in the yard and eat yummy candy. well i can’t know for sure. but what i do know, at the very least, is that it is far more pleasing to Him than the people who honor His resurrection by grumpily adjusting the stick they’ve got lodged in their ass, unable to enjoy the merriment our salvation and traditions bring us. all because they want to make sure any expression of celebration would not be too displeasing to the jews who killed him.
