Another good win for us that hopefully stands..
A federal judge blocked the Trump administration banning the use of “X” marker used by many nonbinary people on passports as well as the changing of gender markers.
This is huge for both the trans and non-binary community who have been struggling to change their passport info to properly match their current identities. Hopefully we'll see many more rulings like this that'll help turn the tide against the Trump Administration's desire to snuff us out.
I'm staying cautiously optimistic as the current admin could ignore the court order or find some legal loophole around it but this is at least a step towards rebelling and shutting down the Orange Shitler and his cronies.
Don't give up my fellow queer comrades. Keep calling, shouting, screaming, protesting, and rebelling in anyway you can!!!
