PSALM 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
PSALM 99

1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
4 The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
8 Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
Along with my Bible study on soteriology I will post Christian living videos and other information like this because I believe we can't do any Bible study without first getting right with the LORD.
Below is my guide on what Bible to get if you do not yet have one. I have spent hours and hours looking into the options of the highest end Bible publishers, and I want to cut your search time down so it is shorter than mine.

Should I settle for a cheap Bible or get an expensive Bible?

I advocate that a person sticks with one Bible their entire life, so I would highly recommend saving up and getting a high quality Bible.

What translation should I get?

KJV. There are many reasons for this, which you can research on your own on YouTube, but just know that it has been the standard and definitive English translation for the past 400 years. Don't mess around with modern translations, just get yourself a KJV.

What type of Bible should I get?

The common ones that you will find are reference Bibles, study Bibles, and text Bibles. For a main Bible that you stick with your entire life I would not recommend a study Bible. Study Bibles have someone else's notes in them such as Scofield's. The notes themselves might not be too bad, but you want it to be YOUR Bible, not someone else's. Either get a reference Bible or a text Bible. Reference Bibles have references that connect verses to each other in a manner that lets the reader quickly see which verse points where, while text Bibles have nothing but the text. I have a text Bible.

Among these choices, you have versions of them that are large print, wide margin, or in a note-taker's format. Large print is for people who don't take notes in their Bible and want a clean presentation, wide margin Bibles are for note-takers who still want to retain the look of a normal Bible, and a note-taker's Bible is for people who straight up want an entire blank column for notes.

Usually you will have three size options: small, medium, and large, which vary greatly depending on the publisher. I wouldn't recommend anything too large because then it may be a hassle to carry to church.

I personally have a full yapp mid size wide margin text Bible. But keep in mind that you may not be able to find a Bible with exactly everything you want. If you have serious OCD and a really high budget, you can get a Bible with the right printing then send it to a rebinder like AA Leather, but I think this is overkill for a main Bible. Unless you're looking for something unusual, I wouldn't consider the rebind option.

Also keep in mind that if you are looking for a reference Bible, there are different kinds. Now because in my search I was specifically looking for a NON reference Bible, this is where my knowledge ends.

What are some good Bible publishers?

Here are my recommendations in a list below. Note that some have certain things available that others do not. I will attempt to give a synopsis of what I know that each has available.
—Church Bible Publishers (KJV only, reference, text only, wide margin, full yapp)
—Schuyler (reference, wide margin, full yapp)
—Allan (reference, wide margin, half yapp)
—Cambridge (reference, text only, wide margin)
There are many publishers who have high end Bibles that are not on this list, but these I know enough to vouch for.

I pray that this helps. This is my knowledge according to what I was looking for personally. If you are interested in finding the rare text-only wide margin, apparently people call it a 390.
Going to make a guide for anyone looking to find a good Bible. I spent hours and hours and hours researching the options of various different publishers and I finally found my dream Bible with all the specifications I wanted. For those of you who don't know what to get, I want to cut your search time significantly so you don't have to go through the grief that I did.
So much of John 10 is interwoven with various terms and passages elsewhere in John that I had to do a large amount of re-reading in order to make sure I knew where all of them were and why they were there. If a layman reads John 10 he will come out understanding eternal security, but if an "educated" "scholar" reads John 10 without paying attention to detail he will come out believing either reformed theology or the schizo perseverance Baptist doctrine. "Hear" and "follow" don't always mean the same thing. Gloss over John 5:25 and the use of tenses in words and you'll have a hard time with clear apostacy passages in scripture elsewhere.
John10:24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
John10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believ
ed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
John10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
John10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Because we know in Daniel 12 that actual everlasting life is to come, and because in John 10:16 it says "SHALL hear my voice" (future-tense) while John 10:27 says "hear my voice" (present-tense) we can understand that Jesus here in John 10:26-29 is speaking proleptically about eternal life, meaning that verses 26-29 are the "and now is" of John 5:25. What this means is that "hear" in John 10:27 is the moment of belief, not the moment of the resurrection, invalidating the idea that the lost sheep are already in the fold or somehow walking their way there before the last day.

Just as "hear" is present-tense yet is attributed to the one-time event of the resurrection, so is "believe" present-tense yet is attributed to the one-time even of receiving everlasting life (proleptic). Though we are his sheep (John 10:16) and are promised to be taken home (John 5:25), we are NOT yet home nor do we yet hear his voice to go home (John 13:36).

What is the conclusion of the matter? It is that these jews never believed, as shown in verse 25 ("ye believed not"). Only the words of Jesus can show us who has believed and who has never believed.

"The hour is coming..."
Hear/Follow = Resurrection [one-time event]
Eternal life = Physical immortality [everlasting event]

"...and now is"
Hear/Follow = Belief [one-time event]
Eternal life = Unbreakable promise [everlasting event]
I can view it on my PC but not on my phone.

Calvinism is one of the most depraved and disgusting doctrines to ever have been invented by man.

Grandma's doing better. She just had some trouble last night because her lungs needed to be drained again. If they aren't drained then she can't lean back which makes sleeping very difficult.

It turns out that she has stage 4 breast cancer. I'm not aware of the specifics but she's handling things very well. Thank you for the prayers.
