Today we commemorate the siege of the Eureka Stockade on the 3rd of December 1854
It is written that ... "The White Australia Policy had its birth in the heroic actions of a few working men - men of the same breed as those whose names are recorded for eternity in connection with the Eureka Stockade.
To all these men, death was to be preferred over degradation, tyranny and dishonour, and although many of them paid the supreme sacrifice - they won a heritage for those who were to come after them."

Obviously, among the labouring classes the latter have, with a truer instinct resulting, no doubt, from a more intimate experience and closer contact discerned not merely the danger of lower wages, but the danger to our national character. The admixture of such differing types of civilisation is bad for both. Human life reaches its lowest degradation where two civilisations meet and cannot fully blend.
The rich man and his children have not to rub shoulders with the coloured alien, as the poor man and his children have – have not to compete with the alien for a living. Therefore the rich man in this matter represents the anarchic spirit – the spirit which makes one’s personal ease and comfort, and wealth the chief end of life.

Where Senator Ferguson argued against the White Australia Policy on the argument of ‘who’s going to grow my sugar’, Alfred Deakin argued that the White Australia Policy protected our Australian civilisation,

New Australian Bureau of Statistics data shows net permanent and long-term arrivals from January to September 2024 were 391,850, the highest September year-to-date on record. The previous record set in 2023 was 390,580.
The political seeds that the leading political parties have planted in the last few years with their mass uncontrollable immigration will undoubtedbly yield a permanent shift in the minds of Australians, particularly the younger generations who are compelled to compete with foreigners for homes and jobs, which in its due time, will yield permanent gains for Nationalist causes and organisations in Australia who are able to capitalise upon and retain gains.

This initiative and the sentiment that drove it were foremost of mind for the men of the Victorian branch of the Australian Natives’ Association when they ventured out to the hills northeast of Melbourne on Saturday to honour Wattle Day with a visit to the official ANA golden wattle.
It was the planting of this tree on Wattle Day last year that initiated our branch’s cultural crusade, through which a concerted effort has been made to host regular formal celebrations to commemorate days of significance; and those members returning for the first time since that day were pleased to note the health of the sapling and its substantial growth over the intervening 12 months.

The “hyphenation” of ethnic groups is one of those key weapons in the word-warfare of the enemy, expressions like “Chinese-Australian” “African-Australian” or even “White-Australian” concedes the premise that Australian identity is meaningless, and there is, an ability to have a form of Australian that is not a member of the founding-stock (and by that, we mean European, principally British) and native born....
