Heavenly Father,
Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayers.
Thank you for the beautiful day you gave me.
Thank you for this precious time at night when I can connect with you, my loving Father.
When I was overwhelmed by sins, you forgave me.
You have blessed me and brought me near to You.
You have filled my life with good things and given me hope and joy.
You created this magnificent world and sustain it by Your power.
Thank you for providing all that I need.
In Jesus’ name,

So I give these heavy concerns to You.
I lay these situations at Your feet.
The empty cross is a place of rest, where I can reflect on the moment when love overcame.
Thank You, that Your love in me can transform the landscape of my life.
I will rest with peace as I prepare to sleep and I put my hope in You.
Nothing is outside of Your redeeming love, might I rest now in the knowledge that You will light my path and guide my life.
In Jesus' name I pray..

You hang the stars...
And feed the sparrows;
You open doors no one can shut
And shut doors no one can open.
Surely, we can trust You when the time comes for making big decisions, or for that matter, any decisions.
As we prepare to rest....
We will trust You for generous wisdom, straight paths and peaceful hearts, all for Your glory
In Jesus' name we pray....

Your sure and certain promise,
our glorious hope, our eternal future.
You have said, “If I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself;
That were I am, there you may be also.”
Thank you, Lord, for the anticipation of our faith.
We’re watching, working, and waiting for the day when you will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.
Oh that it were today!
Even so come Lord Jesus!

As bedtime draws nearer, I just want to thank You for the benefits of sleep You have given us and ask that You would give me Your beloved sleep tonight.
As I settle down for the night I ask and pray that I would soon fall asleep, but first I want to hand all my cares and worries over to You.
For You have promised to carry our burdens, if we will simply lay them down at Your feet.

What an amazing privilege to be identified with Christ as a member of His Body and to have the seal of the indwelling Holy Spirit as a guarantee that we will be permanently established as pillars in the Temple of God, to Your praise and glory.
Thank You that as Your children, we have Christ's name engraved upon us forever, and that nothing in heaven above nor the earth beneath, can separate us from the love of God
Which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord,
