O Divine Twins, Guardians of the path between stars and earth—
we call upon you in reverence and devotion.
Borne on golden trails of morning’s light, you come,
dispelling darkness with your might.
O Bringers of Dawn, Your triumph heralds the birth of a new day.
With hands of flame, you part the night,
restoring the heavens, steadying the world.
In the ashes of Night, we offer our gratitude,
for the blessings of light and life,
for the hope that carries us through the cold.
With hearts alight and spirits uplifted,
we honor you in this phoenix of time,
now and forevermore.

When the bishop of Vannes had their goddess thrown into the river Blavet in 1661, the local peasants hauled her back out again and resumed worshipping her. She is still worshipped in Brittany to this day! I went to visit her and pay my respects in my new film (art by Ryan Murray)
