Messages from the young woman’s family indicate that the head of administrative affairs at the institute contacted Mira's mother yesterday, insisting that she come to the institute to take an exam in order to avoid expulsion.

أُقدم عناصر “الأمن العام” التابعون لسلطة الأمر الواقع على تنفيذ اعتقال تعسفي بحق الطالب الجامعي محمد سعيد الوعري، من مواليد 2001، من منزله فجرًا عند الساعة 2:30، دون مذكرة توقيف أو تهم واضحة، فقط لأنه علوي، بحسب إفادات محلية.
عُرف عن محمد أنه طالب مجتهد في سنته الجامعية الثالثة، بلا أي سوابق أمنية، وكان يعيش مع والدته التي تعاني من ظرف صحي في حي كرم اللوز. وفي اليوم التالي، عُثر على جثمانه مصابًا برصاصة في الرأس — جريمة تُصنّف ضمن الإعدامات الميدانية خارج إطار القانون.

Members of the “General Security” in Homs arbitrarily detained university student Mohammad Saeed Al-Waari (b. 2001) from his home at 2:30 AM, reportedly due to his Alawite background, without a warrant or any known charges.
The next day, his body was found with a gunshot wound to the head — a case of extrajudicial execution.
Mohammad was a civilian with no prior record — a student whose life was stolen before it began.
