У передмові мене вразило, що ця книга була написана ще за членіна. За сталіна за зберігання копії (часто рукописної) можна було потрапити у тюрму. Тому люди десь у лісах ховали її і потайки читали.
Про княжу добу.
Я вражена, що Київська держава існувала ще до 1000 року. Воювати тоді було типу як подорожувати зараз. Це прославлялося, оспівувалося. Воювали між собою брати-князі багато, переважно за Київ і це їх ослабило дуже.
Москву створили українці (не членін Україну) Московити - суміш українців і фінів. Приносили Києву проблеми ще від другого князя, як тільки укріпли трохи.
Не дізналася деталей як кн. Ольга жорстоко мстилася за свого чоловіка. Чи як Русь хрестили огнем і мечем. Тільки згадано, що всіх богів наказали викинути в ріку (дерево в ріку?)
Дізналася, що татари завдавали клопоту і решті Східної Європи. Пройшли всю Україну і через Польщу на Балкани. Потім повернули назад і хан просто збирав собі данину, ну і не давав будувати фортеці і збирати війська.

russia is a rotten country. There was another massive attack on Ukraine tonight. mostly on Kyiv but also Harkiv, 3 more Eastern and 1 central regions. At least 90 people wounded, at least 12 dead, some people are still missing, dozens of homes, schools and kindergartens destroyed. This was the tightest attack since the beginning of the full scale war. 215 flying targets were launched onto Ukraine. Unfortunately only a half of them could by hit down.

Today russia has once again tried to impose it's "mir" (the word has double meaning - "peace" and "world") upon Ukraine. In case you don't know, russians have attacked Sumy on Palm Sunday, killing 24 people, among them 5 children

The worst about it is probably that we all got used to it. I don't anymore cry about such news like 2,5 years ago. Just sigh deeply and go on about my day.
But it's infuriating. It's infuriating that the world just keeps watching, the politians at most will just express their deep concern and the Europeans and Americans will keep enjoying the spring flowers, eat their ice cream on market squares and sometimes complain about the migrants who often do the jobs no one else apart from them wants to do.

I already have more than enough information, and now I need to process it. And actually, I need a little help here, because I'm afraid I'll get bogged down 😅

They're a rotten nation. I want Moscow to become swamp and it's citizens - the things and creatures that normally inhabit swamps.
I want russian mothers to feel the pain of Ukrainian mothers when looking at their dismembered children. I want the russian mothers to feel this excruciating pain every single day for the rest of their lives.
I want young russians to be feeling the pain of being separated from their parents and sent to be re-educated into russians.
I want russian men to come back home and be looked down at with disgust and be beaten up for having no limbs. I want them to feel this every single moment of their fucking lives.
I want russians to be sleep deprived because of nightmares and because all the neighbouring countries are finally taking revenge. I want them to live in fear wherever they are in the world. I want them to be always looking back and being afraid of their origins from the shit lands.
I want all of them to live and suffer long, very long. And even if they do realise what a shit their country has always been, and even if they do have sympathy for us, even if they're "anti-putin activists", i still want them to live with this pain.
I couldn't find any English or German rhymed spells so I'll just literally translate a Ukrainian one (suggestions are welcome):
"my word is sticky, my word is strong. You, the enemy, will get what the witch says"

I want russian mothers to feel the pain of Ukrainian mothers when looking at their dismembered children. I want the russian mothers to feel this excruciating pain every single day for the rest of their lives.
I want young russians to be feeling the pain of being separated from their parents and sent to be re-educated into russians.
I want russian men to come back home and be looked down at with disgust and be beaten up for having no limbs. I want them to feel this every single moment of their fucking lives.
I want russians to be sleep deprived because of nightmares and because all the neighbouring countries are finally taking revenge. I want them to live in fear wherever they are in the world. I want them to be always looking back and being afraid of their origins from the shit lands.
I want all of them to live and suffer long, very long. And even if they do realise what a shit their country has always been, and even if they do have sympathy for us, even if they're "anti-putin activists", i still want them to live with this pain.
I couldn't find any English or German rhymed spells so I'll just literally translate a Ukrainian one (suggestions are welcome):

⚡️ Even four months after the crash of russian fuel oil tankers in the Kerch Strait on the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation and occupied Crimea, new emissions of oil products are being recorded.

For example, residents of the hamlet Voskresenskyi near Anapa, russia, where thousands of tons of fuel oil sand collected from the coast have been dumped, have recorded an appeal to Putin. They complain about the acrid odor from the “fuel oil landfill.” Local officials promised to eliminate the landfill by April 1, but instead they are only bringing more and more contaminated sand there.

And while new oil slicks come ashore, propaganda reports on “safe beaches” and “successful preparation” for the tourist season.

якщо коротко, книга дає дуже базові знання про те, якими були різні 10ті й ранні 20ті на українських землях, і через аналіз різних сфер соціального, економічного та політичного життя населення намагається зʼясувати, як все-таки взаємодіяли між собою національне та соціальне питання (чи був між ними конфлікт, у якому розрізі, і чи є цей конфлікт органічним, а чи то радше навʼязаним)
