It's interesting that many of the historical criticisms and banishment's of the Freemasons and the Illuminati were mostly coming from religious institutions which recognized that freedom of speech and free thought were a threat to their monopolies.
This isn't a defense of these groups and their own goals, but on one hand it was necessary for humanity to break free from the shackles of religion and rule by superstition.
Of course, I don't advocate banning religion or controlling what people believe as some have, but Enlightenment thinking is preferable IMO to religious indoctrination.

In a 7-page ruling an appeals Judge denies the injunction sought by Trump DOJ and warns of the dire consequences of Trump continuing to ignore court orders relating to bringing Kilmar Abrego Garcia back from El Salvador. BTW this judge was one of those wild activist judges appointed by Ronald Reagan.
"The Executive possesses enormous powers to prosecute and to deport, but with powers come restraints. If today the Executive claims the right to deport without due process and in disregard of court orders, what assurance will there be tomorrow that it will not deport American citizens and then disclaim responsibility to bring them home? And what assurance shall there be that the Executive will not train its broad discretionary powers upon its political enemies?"
The court also quoted former President Eisenhower when he reluctantly enforced the Supreme Court's ruling to desegregate schools:
“[t]he very basis of our individual rights and freedoms is the certainty that the President and the Executive Branch of Government will support and [e]nsure the carrying out of the decisions of the Federal Courts.”"
The case is now headed back to the Supreme Court.

I spent most of my young life and 20's insecure & unsure of myself. I was often paralyzed by insecurities & didn't know how to stand up for myself. When I did express myself it usually wasn't in a healthy manner.
As odd as it may sound, the internet helped me get over it.
First, I started posting my thoughts by blogging. Nothing political at first, just processing my depression and writing lyrics.
By time I joined FB in 2009 I was starting to wake up. My posts went from "going out to the bar" to "Who has heard of the New World Order?"
Of course, in the beginning no one was seeing these posts but my family, friends, and acquaintances I knew from the music scene. I quickly found out who thought I was crazy, and who was going down those same infamous early YouTube rabbit holes.
By 2010 I stopped caring what people thought about my FB posts. I started getting bolder and expressing myself offline. I started organizing protests, hosting documentary screenings, passing out flyers in public, organizing meetings and shows.
I simply stopped giving a fuck what people thought about me.
I've lost some friends over the years - mainly in the beginning and during COVID1984 - but I've gained so much more. I've gained my self-respect and confidence I never truly knew as a child and young man.
Having the internet and the computer to "hide behind" for a little while gave me the strength to start expressing myself all the time. It didn't happen overnight but as the amount of people listening has grown I've felt more confident to share my thoughts even when I know I will face backlash. Even from supporters.
If I could go back to my younger self I would say, "Don't depend on others for love, love yourself."
I'd tell him it doesn't matter if "they" think your favorite music sucks. Who cares if these people think you're too emotional when you express yourself.
I'd tell him the future is bright and none of the people whose thoughts you are worried about are going to matter in the near future.
Be you. No Matter what.

Palantir, the surveillance giant, is taking on an increased role with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), including finding the physical location of people who are marked for deportation, according to Palantir Slacks and other internal messages obtained by 404 Media.
The leak shows that Palantir’s work with ICE includes producing leads for law enforcement to find people to deport and keeping track of the logistics of Trump’s mass deportation effort, and provides concrete insight into the Trump administration’s wish to leverage data to enforce its immigration agenda. The internal communications also show Palantir leadership preparing for a potential backlash from employees or outsiders, with them writing FAQs that can be sent to friends or family that start to ask about Palantir’s work with ICE.
