🇳🇿 🇨🇳- Model Minorities

A recent trend in regime media has been the promotion of so-called "good" immigration, attempting to shape public perception regarding aliens in our midst. We will focus on one such article here:
https://archive.is/tIE2Y

On the surface, this is an innocuous article highlighting the exceptional achievements of a particular child, an anecdote emblematic of first- and second-generation immigrant children in New Zealand. This is certainly a laudable achievement for a boy with a bright future ahead of him. But why would his parents force their child to take the SAT—an American university admissions test—at the age of nine?

The unexamined reality is that this appears to be the product of an intense grind culture, where young children are pressured to study relentlessly from an early age to meet certain academic benchmarks. This culture, common amongst cultures which place high value on education, has a focus primarily on test achievement and placement in higher education institutions; is not a reflection of ability but rather Goodhart's Law. The signal of educational attainment, and its life outcomes, are the focus rather than the benefits to virtue, productivity and human capital.

Regime research on this phenomenon is scarce, but an excellent collection of essays explores the topic in depth. The result of such an academic grind culture and credentialism? Unhappy children, overbearing helicopter parents, and a zero-sum competition for limited university placements (e.g., Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science) that does little to enhance overall human capital at immense expense to the collective participants.

🇳🇿 - Is Stuff Ltd struggling economically?

New Zealand media company Stuff Ltd appears to be struggling to make ends meet. Several recent news articles have suggested they are suffering financially, as declining trust in main stream media and limited profitability harm the solvency of the firm.

Stuff Ltd has discontinued numerous local masthead newspapers, disestablished several local roles, and focused on its nationwide media strategy pushing video-oriented content for television and internet since taking over the remnants of TV3. Owner Sinead Boucher, who purchased the company for $1 in 2020, has managed to sustain the media company; however it is worth assuming that a large portion of Stuff's funding comes from central and local government via public advertising spend.

Recently Boucher has increased the number of shares of Stuff Ltd to approximately 1 million shares outstanding. It is likely this increase in share issuance is in preparation to sell some portion of the company to a third-party investor. The recent discussions regarding selling 'masthead' newspapers to NZME, which owns the New Zealand Herald, suggest a need to raise capital to keep this regime propaganda machine going. Additionally, recent moves to enforce user authentication when reading Stuff articles, which enables better-targeted advertisements for higher ad revenue, suggest a need to improve revenue in the face of declining profitability. Given recent developments regarding the NZME takeover by billionaire Jim Grenon, this may be an industry-wide trend of impoverishment.

🇳🇿 Canadian-born New Zealander Jim Grenon, an oil and gas billionaire, has recently acquired a significant stake in NZME. NZME is one of New Zealand’s largest media companies, with a strong presence in both newspapers and radio.

Its newspaper portfolio includes The New Zealand Herald, the New Zealand Listener, and numerous regional papers. Its radio portfolio includes Newstalk ZB, ZM, Radio Hauraki, Gold, Hokonui, Flava, Gold Sport, Coast, and The Hits.

With nearly $350 million in revenue, NZME is a dominant player in the New Zealand media landscape. It is widely perceived as the centre-right alternative to centre-left Stuff Ltd. The arrival of external financial influence—particularly from the oil and gas industry—aligns with the increased political focus on oil, gas, and mining among right-aligned parties.

The reaction from establishment media has centred on concerns about “editorial independence.” In reality, this reflects the narcissistic injury of journalists who prefer to operate without accountability for their influence.

The broader issue is not their complaints but rather the decline of traditional media power and its increasing capture by wealthy interests who seek to shape public discourse. As financial backers take a more active role, the media landscape continues to shift.

🇳🇿- The New Zealand Economy is in a strange state. A range of data from a number of institutions paints a bleak picture of the economy. Do the statistics match the reality?

Officially, Unemployment is hovering at a 4 year high of 5.1%, with 32,000 workers exiting the workforce as of the final quarter of 2024. Labour Participation is sitting at 71% in December, down from a record high of 72.3% in 2023. By most measures of official data, the economy is swimming along hummingly.

Yet, something is not matching the baseline data. Heartland Group Holdings, the holding company for Heartland Bank, has reported a drop of net profit to 3.6m, with impairment of roughly 50 million in debt for the 1st Half of 2025, up from 24M in 1st Half of 2024.

At the same time, Company Liquidations are at a 10 year high as of October 2024, up 25% year on year.

Anecdotally, Spinoff is reporting roles are receiving thousands of applications per available role; with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment's Jobs Online: December Quarter 2024 data reporting online job advertisements fell 27.2% over the year to December 2024, at the lowest level since the flash recession during the early stages of the COVID pandemic or since 2014.

Although these are anecdotal data points, the prolonged recession which the New Zealand Economy is in points to a frozen job market, excessive debt burdens being paid down or defaulted on. Are we becoming like China, where official economic statistics are broadly regarded as nonsense by financial analysts?

🇳🇿🇺🇸 - Trump's Tariffs Set at 10% on Goods and Services from New Zealand.

The Trump administration has announced new tariff rates for numerous countries, emphasizing reciprocal tariffs, trade barriers, and currency conversion. However, the reasoning behind New Zealand’s 10% tariff rate—and why U.S. policymakers believe New Zealand imposes a 20% tariff on U.S. goods—remains unclear.

One possible explanation could be New Zealand’s biosecurity requirements for American imports, such as fruits and vegetables. Another unresolved issue for U.S. policymakers is Pharmac, New Zealand’s monopsony buyer of pharmaceuticals. Pharmac negotiates all drug purchases on behalf of the country’s healthcare system, securing lower prices to ensure affordable medicine for New Zealanders. This system has been a point of contention for U.S. officials, likely influenced by lobbying from American pharmaceutical companies, as New Zealand purchases drugs at near-cost prices.

🇳🇿 - As was suspected, The Incumbent Luxon Government intends to prostitute itself to India to ensure GDP line goes up.

It appears the New Zealand government wants to give the Modi government increasingly liberal immigration laws for Indians, to export its surplus population from India to New Zealand. Political Weasel Winston Peters has already signalled increased importation of aliens for 'education', which is nonsense as most of these 'exports' are for low quality, private institutions which provide little to no substantive education to these 'foreign students'. Instead, this is a mere backdoor for mass importation of alien peoples as cheap labour.

In reality, the economic exports from New Zealand to India are primary goods which we sell a relatively small quantity of. India primarily exports an array of manufactured goods of lesser complexity in exchange for primary goods. The relatively minor tariffs upon our goods, at a rate of ~30% for most goods, are primarily politically motivated to protect small scale farming in India, which constitute a substantial voting base for the incumbent Modi government.

The real interest of the Indian government is to export its surplus populations from India to other countries in exchange for remittances, business connections and political influence with their racial voting blocs. Indians within New Zealand vote largely along racial, sectarian and caste lines. Subcontinentals who reside within New Zealand send substantial portions of their income, approximately 10%, back to the Subcontinent on average.

Is any of this in our interest? Are we benefiting from tariff reductions and its downstream economic benefits or merely selling our birth right for a mess of pottage?

🇳🇿- In another stab to the heart of our nation by the incumbent National government, two visa programmes have been relaxed; namely the Golden Visa programme and the Digital Nomad Visa.

The Golden Visa is an investor residency visa offered to anyone interested in emigrating to New Zealand and investing between $2.9 million over 3 years to $5.8 million over 5 years. The Digital Nomad Visa offers a 90 day stay, extended for up to 9 months. This is part of an effort to restore travel to pre-2019 figures for tourism.

These visas fundamentally undermine the legitimacy of citizenship and residency in New Zealand, rendering our country a mere economic zone for our low value, low profitability tourism industry. Both these visas and the continuity of post GFC growth policies (that attempt to grow the economy inorganically by importing foreigners to increase baseline demand) increase labour supply and suppress wages.

If you struggle with low wages and the ability to pay your rent or mortgage, remember that the treacherous Elite of our nation import cheap labour at your expense.

🇳🇿- Masterton: Police are seeking Michael Kane McRae, 44, who has a warrant for his arrest.
We believe Mr McRae will be able to assist with our investigation into several arsons at churches in Masterton on the morning of Saturday 22 February.
We also wish to reiterate our appeal for information about a green Ford Festiva, which was seen leaving one of those fires.
Anyone with information about Michael McRae or sightings of this vehicle is urged to contact Police via 105 online or the 105 phone reporting line, referencing file number 250222/1673.
🇳🇿- Update on the Ben Doyle case.

It appears more accusations have surfaced regarding Green MP Ben Doyle's time as a teacher at Auckland Girls' Grammar, alleging inappropriate sexual conduct with students. While we are unable to verify this information or directly link it to the Teacher Disciplinary Tribunal case, it is a lead worth investigating.

Furthermore, it appears that regime media has colluded to bury the lede on this story, with the primary focus being on 'death threats' rather than the accusations levelled at the MP himself, and focusing on 'referring threats to police' without any discussion of the matter of Doyle's suggestive posts or the possible sexual abuse of children, including his own child. The same narrative and talking points have been used in all regime media.

We will continue reporting as updates come out.

🇳🇿 - A fascinating yet under-discussed issue within our current system is the decline of mass education, driven by credentialism and declining standards. Recently, RNZ briefly covered the issue, attempting to attribute the failure, as always, to a lack of funding, experts, or whatever reinforces bureaucratic orthodoxy. However, there is more to this story than what is being covered.

As of 2024, only 64% of Year 11 students (aged 15-16) attempted NCEA Level 1, of which 70% passed. This translates to an approximate 44.8% pass rate, the lowest credential for mass education. The usual baseline pass rate for NCEA Level 1 is approximately 70% between 2013 and 2023. The supposed drop in pass rates, which regime media attributes to increased standards for literacy and numeracy, is an astonishingly poor showing for educational attainment.

Why would a relatively simple benchmark test on literacy and numeracy—implying the ability to read and perform basic mathematics—be such a hurdle for the general population? Similarly, we have seen significant drops in our Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) scores, with consistent declines over nearly 25 years. The 2022 PISA reading score dropped by 28 points compared to the 2000 results, while the mathematics score dropped by 44 points over the same period. For perspective, this represents approximately a year and a half of lost schooling.

The difficulty lies in identifying the root cause of this decline. Are these institutions diminishing in quality, or are the people coming through these institutions simply less capable than those who came before? The answer is multifaceted, but we can be sure the decline is self evident.

🇳🇿- Breaking News: There is widespread speculation on Twitter and other online platforms regarding sitting NZ Green Party MP Benjamin Doyle and supposed sexually inappropriate relations with children.

The allegations arise from his alternative Instagram account BibleBeltBussy, which includes language and photographs suggestive of child sexualisation. Bussy is slang for ‘boy pussy’, a term used by the LGBT community when referring to male children. The photographs taken from Doyle's account show him kissing a young child on the lips and holding a young child in a sexually suggestive way; with one caption referring to children and gender fluidity.

Because the faces of the minors are blacked out, it is unclear at this point if the images portray more than one child, or what relationship they have with Mr Doyle, who does have one child of his own. His Instagram has been locked since the online allegations arose.

We will report more as this story develops.

🇳🇿- Prime Minister Christopher Luxon’s trade delegation to India marks a significant step in New Zealand’s 20-year effort to establish a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with India. Apparently the primary hurdle remains India’s concerns over dairy exports, which could impact millions of small-scale farmers. Other key issues include tourism, education, remittances, and IT services.

However recent trade agreements between India and Australia offer a cautionary reference. Clauses recognising Indian qualifications as equivalent to Australia’s, alongside expanded visa access for Indian nationals, have raised concerns about their impact on Australian workers, education standards, and economic incentives. Reports of Indian lobbying efforts, including alleged spy networks, further complicate the narrative.

India’s broader policy of encouraging emigration—whether of Christian Indians from Kerala and Goa, Sikhs, or other groups—appears strategic. Remittances, foreign experience, and strengthened trade ties benefit India, mirroring policies seen in countries like the Philippines.

As New Zealand negotiates, it must ensure any agreement prioritises national interests. The National Party and Prime Minister Luxon must be held accountable to secure a deal that benefits New Zealand without undermining domestic priorities. We will continue to monitor developments closely.

🇳🇿- Te Pati Maori appears to be struggling in recent months. Racked by scandal, Their party expenditure filings for the year to December 2023 were filed six months late, with blank pages for the audit report of party accounts. Recent scandals around Maori machine politics, including the Manurewa Marae scandal in which demographic data collected for Census and Covid Vaccination purposes at the Marae on behalf of Stats NZ were used to assist the Maori party and the political machinery of John Tamihere.

Much of the organisational momentum of the party depends on charities and so called non governmental organisations which receive grants from organs of government to sustain themselves. One such paragovernmental organisation, Whanau Ora Commissioning Agency, is under scrutiny from Charity Services, which oversees charities, after the scandals emerged seeking to deregister the charity.
