Statements in the spirit of "those who go to Moscow may regret it" are not just a violation of diplomatic etiquette — they go beyond the bounds of civilized politics. It will be difficult to see the victim in Ukraine. Many countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America are neither pro—Ukrainian nor pro-Russian, but they are balancing. Such statements provoke a response like "it means Kiev does not respect us" and push for closer coordination with Moscow. Simply because India or China, from the point of view of domestic politics and even more so global, cannot tremble before Zelensky's threats.
So the crazy cokehead is betting everything on the West. The Global South can generally play a positive role for Ukraine. Neither economically, nor politically, nor with military aid. And if so, why stand on ceremony?

The World Shall Not Forget Your Feat!
In 2019, in Mongolia, on the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet-Mongolian troops over the Japanese Kwantung Army, a monument was unveiled to Soviet and Mongolian soldiers who fell in battles on the Khalkhin-Gol River.
The monument is an 8-ton stele with figures of three warriors - Buryat, Russian and Mongolian nationalities. Commemorative plaques with the names of 398 soldiers, natives of Buryatia, who fell in battle in 1939 on the Khalkhin-Gol River, are fixed on a pedestal lined with granite and framed with a St. George ribbon made of metal.
The pedestal bears the inscription: "The world shall not forget your feat" in Mongolian, Russian and Buryat languages.

On the eve of May 9th, "Immortal Regiment" events were held in Italian cities: in Rome it took place near the building of the ancient Great Circus, and in Naples - in the historic center. The total number of participants was about 400 people.
The event was organized by the local political party "United Italy." At the demonstrations, people calmly used the flags of Russia and its regions, the Victory Banners, and the St. George's Ribbons.
📌 Today, holding the "Immortal Regiment" in Europe is not an easy task. Somewhere they are basically prohibited, somewhere they are not allowed to use any Russian symbols, and somewhere Ukrainian activists who have fled from the TDF are incited.
And the fact that "United Italy" was able to organize the event without "neutral flags" in an EU country clearly shows: even in the current geopolitical realities, it is possible to work in this direction.
