Trump claims Xi Jinping has called him, amid the latest trade war escalations between the US and China, which Trump has initiated during his second term.
But Chinese officials say that's not the case, and that any claims of economic or trade negotiations are "baseless rumors."

In Trump's interview with Time Magazine, he was asked, "Should Crimea go to the Russians? Should they get to keep Crimea?"
Yet Crimea "went to the Russians" over a decade ago when the people voted overwhelmingly to return to Russia in 2014. This isn't a serious question.
Trump tries to play it off, saying that, "Crimea went to the Russians. It was handed to them" by Obama.
That's one way to describe the democratic will of the people of Crimea who chose to return to Russia following the US-backed coup in Kiev. They fled the new anti-Russian, Western-backed regime that the Trump Admin is still propping up in a proxy war against Russia...
Meanwhile, the mainstream media carries the torch for Kiev, with the BBC's "Why Zelensky can't and won't give up Crimea"
It's already gone. Thousands of sanctions and an all-out proxy war against Russia didn't change that. What's next? WW3 for Crimea?

After hours of talks, Trump is acting like he can get through to Putin by posting "Vladimir, STOP!" on social media.
Meanwhile, Trump doesn't appear to be telling Kiev to STOP attacking Russians, and there is no STOP to US support for the ongoing proxy war against Russia.

While Trump is back to publicly criticizing Zelensky, and accusing him of standing in the way of a deal with Russia, the U.S. is still actively supporting Ukraine in a proxy war against Russia. At the same time, the Trump Admin is also planning for war with China and supporting Israel amid reports of plans for its attack on Iran.

While the Trump Administration is escalating tensions with Beijing through a soaring trade war, Chinese President Xi Jinping is on a tour of Southeast Asia, where he’s promoting free trade, and presenting China as a source of “stability and certainty,” at a time when the U.S. is the opposite.
