📚The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has said,
“By the One Who sent me with Truth as a giver of glad tidings, the Qa'im (the one who rises, referring to al-Mahdi) from my descendants will disappear for a certain period which has been promised to him by me, until most people will say, 'Allah does not need Ahl al-bayt.' The remainders will doubt his birth. So whoever reaches his time should adhere to his religion and should not let Satan seduce him due to doubt, causing him to deviate from my community and separate him from my religion. Verily Satan brought out your parents from Paradise before, and Allah, the Exalted, has made satans masters of the people who disbelieve.”
حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل - رضي الله عنه - قال: حدثنا علي بن - إبراهيم، عن أبيه، عن عبد السلام بن صالح الهروي، عن أبي الحسن علي بن موسى الرضا، عن أبيه، عن آبائه، عن علي عليهم السلام قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وآله: والذي بعثني بالحق بشيرا ليغيبن القائم من ولدي بعهد معهود إليه مني حتى يقول أكثر الناس: ما لله في آل محمد حاجة، ويشك آخرون في ولادته، فمن أدرك زمانه فليتمسك بدينه، ولا يجعل للشيطان إليه سبيلا بشكه فيزيله عن ملتي ويخرجه من ديني، فقد أخرج أبويكم من الجنة من قبل، وإن الله عز وجل جعل الشياطين أولياء للذين لا يؤمنون.

📚When Imām al-Husayn (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) decided to leave Madinā, Umm Salamah (عَلَيْهِا الْسَّلام) came to him and said, "O my dear son! Do not aggrieve me by going towards Iraq. For I have heard your Grandfather say that my son Husayn will be killed in Iraq at a place called Karbala."
The Imām (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) replied, "O dear Grandmother! I too am aware of it and I shall be forcefully killed while there is no escape from it. By Allāh! I know the day when I shall be killed and recognize my murderor besides being aware of the Mausoleum where I shall be buried. And I know all those people among my family, relatives and followers who shall die alongwith me. And I wish to show you the place where I shall be buried."
Then he pointed towards Karbala and the land thereat arose and he showed her the places where he would be buried, where he would lay martyred, the site of his encampment, and the place where he would hault. When Umm Salamah (عَلَيْهِا الْسَّلام) saw this she wept bitterly and offered all decree to the Almighty.
Then the Imām (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) said, "O Grandmother! Allah Almighty desires to see me killed and that my head be severed with cruelty and injustice. Besides (Allah) desires that my family and womenfolk be expelled, and my children oppressed, bare headed, arrested and bound in chains. And they would plead and call out for help, but none would come to their aid."

🌺#11Shaban Heartiest congratulations on the birth anniversary of the first martyr of Karbala from among the progeny of the Prophet (ﷺ), Ali ibn al-Husayn al-Akbar (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام)🌺
Shaykh Abbās' al-Qummī (رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ) writes that his mother was Layla bint Abi Murrah bin Urwah bin Mas'ud al-Thaqafi, while 'Urwah bin Mas'ud was one of the four Chiefs in Islam and the renowned eminent ones. He was said to be similar to the Ṣaḥib Yasin and resembled Prophet Īsā (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) the most among men.
While Ali al-Akbar (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) was a handsome youth, and bore great resemblance to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) among all men, with regards to physical appearance, character and eloquence of tongue. He had obtained valour as inheritance from Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) and was renowned in all merits.

It is renowned that Imam al-Husayn's (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) felicitous birth took place in Madina on the third of the month of Shaban. Shaykh al-Tūsi (رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ) relates, that a signed statement (Tawqi) from Imām al-Mahdi (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) emerged, addressed to Qāsim bin Ala' al-Hamdānī, the agent of Imam Ḥasan al-Askari (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام), stating that, “Our Master Husayn was born on Wednesday, the third of the month of Shaban. Then fast on that day and recite the following supplication (Dua):

📚When the opinion of Abu Bakr and his supporters became unanimous about depriving Fatima (عَلَيْهِا الْسَّلام) from Fadak, and she lost all hope about his reconsideration, she came to her father’s grave, threw herself upon it, and grievously complained about the way the people treated her. And she wept, till the earth on the grave became wet with her tears, and then she said in her elegy:
Men have attacked us and humiliated us, after the Prophet ﷺ, and all wealth has been usurped; The perpetrator of injustices to us will know his fate on the day of Judgement, where he will finally land. 📚Muhammad Ibn Muslim narrates that once Imām Muhammad al-Bāqir (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) said, "O Muhammad Ibn Muslim, if believing people repent for their sins, then they will be forgiven. Believing people must resume their good deeds after repentance and forgiveness. By Allah, this is only for the believers." I then asked, "What if he goes back to sin after repenting and asking for forgiveness and repents again?" The Imām said, "O Muhammad Ibn Muslim, do you think a believing servant (of Allah) regrets his sins, asks forgiveness and repents but Allah does not accept his repentance?" I said, "He, however, has done it many times. He sins, repents and asks forgiveness (from Allah)." The Imām said, "Whenever a believing servant (of Allah) returns back for repentance and pleas for forgiveness, Allah returns to him with forgiveness; Allah is forgiving and merciful. He accepts repentance and effaces the evil deeds. You must never cause a believer to lose hope in the favor and mercy of Allah."

📚The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, when mentioning the virtues of Shaban to his companions,
“This month is honourable, and it is my month. The carriers of the Throne magnify it and recognize its right. It is a month in which the sustenance of the believers is increased, like the month of Ramadan. In it, Paradise is adorned. Surely, it was called Shaban because the sustenance of the believers branches out (tatasha`ab) therein. It is a month in which good deeds are doubled, rewards are seventyfold, evil deeds are rubbed away, sins are forgiven, good deeds are accepted, and the Powerful [God] boasts about His worshipers – He looks to those fasting and standing in prayer, and He boasts to the carriers of the Throne.”

📚The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, when mentioning the virtues of Shaban to his companions,
“This month is honourable, and it is my month. The carriers of the Throne magnify it and recognize its right. It is a month in which the sustenance of the believers is increased, like the month of Ramadan. In it, Paradise is adorned. Surely, it was called Shaban because the sustenance of the believers branches out (tatasha`ab) therein. 📚Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) has said,
“By Allah, when our Qa'im (Riser) makes a stand, or speaks our speech, he will expose the matters of these two (Abu Bakr and Umar) of what they had concealed, and conceal from their matters what they used to make apparent. By Allah, nothing has afflicted us from the afflictions, and what has passed of the difficulties against us, the People of the Household, except that these two (Abu Bakr and Umar) laid the foundations of it at first place, so against these two are the Curses of Allah, and the Angels, and the people altogether.”

📚Zakariya ibn Adam narrated that he was with Imam al-Ridha (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) when they brought Abu Ja'far al-Jawād (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) to him, and he was less than four years old. He struck [his hand] to the ground and raised his head to the sky, pondering for a long time.
Imam al-Ridha (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) said to him: "By my soul, what are you thinking about?"
He replied: "About what they (Abu Bakr and Umar) did to my mother Fatima (عَلَيْهِا الْسَّلام). By God, I will take them out, then I will burn them, then I will scatter their ashes, then I will blow their ashes into the sea."
The Imām drew him close, kissed him between the eyes, and then said: "My father and mother be sacrificed for you, you are for it" - meaning the Imamate.
ومنها: قال أبو جعفر: أخبرني أبو الحسين محمد بن هارون بن موسى التلعكبري، عن أبيه قال: أخبرني أبو جعفر محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد عن محمد بن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله البرقي، قال: حدثني زكريا بن آدم، قال: إني لعند الرضا عليه السلام إذ جيئ بأبي جعفر عليه السلام وسنه أقل من أربع سنين فضرب [بيده] إلى الأرض ورفع رأسه إلى السماء، فأطال الفكر. فقال له الرضا عليه السلام: بنفسي [أنت] فيم طال فكرك؟ قال: فيما صنعا بأمي فاطمة عليها السلام أما والله لأخرجنهما، ثم لأحرقنهما ثم لأذرينهما ثم لأنسفنهما في اليم نسفا. فاستدناه، وقبل بين عينيه، ثم قال: بأبي أنت وأمي أنت لها - يعني الإمامة-

📚Imām Ja'far al-Sādiq (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) has said,
"Fātima (عَلَيْهِا الْسَّلام) passed away in Jumada al-Akhirah on a Tuesday, three days into the month, in the year eleven of the Hijra.
The reason for her death was that Qunfudh, a freedman of Umar, struck her with the heel of a sword by his command, causing her to miscarry Muhsin and she became seriously ill as a result. She did not allow anyone who had harmed her to enter upon her.
Two men from the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) asked the Commander of the Faithful Ali (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) to intercede for them with her. The Commander of the Faithful (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) asked her, and she agreed. When they entered upon her, they said: "How are you, O daughter of the Messenger of Allah?" She replied: "I am well, praise be to Allah." Then she said to them: "Did you not hear the Prophet (ﷺ) say: 'Fātima is a part of me; whoever harms her has harmed me, and whoever harms me has harmed Allah'?" They replied: "Yes." She said: "By Allah, you have harmed me." They left her presence while she was displeased with them (Abu Bakr and Umar)."
