The primary villains of Softer Side are the Noxious, Nox for short. They're essentially creatures born from human malice fused with mana. They're amorphous save for the key feature of multi-colored eyes and other vague facial features depending on how powerful the individual Nox is.
Their gimmick is possession and shapeshifting, different types of Nox specialize in different things; weaker Nox are only capable of possessing their victims, while stronger Nox are capable of scanning and becoming Nox-copies of their targets, so on and so forth.

Yappy preds are the worst.
