On April 9, 1865 the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia, Robert E. Lee commanding, was compelled to surrender his forces to Union General Ulysses S. Grant marking the end of Dixies struggle for independence. Today marks the 160th anniversary of that surrender of arms. Let us as Southrons today strive to make sure such a struggle does not go down in vain memory.

Can't think of a better book to read to begin the month. The 3rd edition of this book I can tell is radically different from just the 2nd, A quick skimming thru presents a more contemporary call to action for the Southron people,God Bless Dixie!
