How Praying Hyde Learned to Pray Isaiah 62:6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
John Hyde said that we should remind God of His promises and give Him no rest until He answers. John (Praying) Hyde said that Isaiah 62:6-7 taught him how to pray with persistence. Hide grew up in Carthage, Illinois, in a minister's home. At McCormick theological seminary, he committed himself to overseas evangelism, and following graduation he went to India. His itinerant ministry took him from village to village, but his preaching produced few converts until he discovered the truth of Isaiah 62: 6-7: and took these words literally.
At the beginning of 1908, he prayed to win at least one soul to Christ every day. By December 31st, he had recorded over 400 converts. The following year, the Lord laid 2 souls per day on his heart, and his prayer was again answered. The next year he prayed for four souls daily with similar results.
Once, stopping at a cottage for water, Praying Hyde pleaded with God for 10 souls. He presented the Gospel to the family, and by the end of his visit all nine members of the family had been saved. But what of number 10? Suddenly a nephew who had been playing outside ran into the room and promptly accepted the Lord Jesus as his Saviour!
Brothers and sisters, let’s pray for lost souls, let’s ask the Lord to give us opportunities to share the Gospel wherever we go.

These 👆👆👆are the words given to us by Paul from the Lord, that would comfort the church..."Therefore comfort one another with these words" 1 Thess 4:18..as you can see over and over he reminded and encouraged the saints of the glorious hope we have in Christ Jesus, "together with all his saints at his coming"
This indeed is a future event yet to come and are we not... part of the saints that would be with the Lord when he comes? Think on it. All these wonderful verses hallelujah 🙌 Oh my beloved brothers and sisters we are not destined to suffer the wrath of God🙏👏🔥🕊❤️
