The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has confirmed a horrifying incident where a 14-year-old girl has been mauled to death by a stray lion from the Nairobi National Park, around the Savannah Ranch.The grade seven pupil is reported to have been attacked on Saturday evening around 7PM while at the Savannah Ranch residence.An alarm was immediately raised by another teenager who witnessed the attack, and KWS rangers followed tracks of the killer lion to the nearby Mbagathi River, where they found the primary school girl's remains. The lion was not sighted at or near the scene.KWS says it has set a trap and deployed search teams to look for the animal, adding that additional security measures have been taken to prevent any further attacks.The girl's body has been taken to the Nairobi Funeral Home as efforts to trace the lion are ongoing.KWS has also confirmed another wildlife
