An #Israeli bomb fell on their home while they were asleep in Jabalia, in the northern #Gaza Strip, taking away the life of her parents and her younger brothers Abdulrahim and Ahmad.

Covered in burns on her face and back, and with a fracture in the left arm, a collapsed arch in the foot, and abdominal injuries, Mariam is still recovering.

The trauma that faced Mariam left her incapable of speaking about what happened that night.

Her grandmother tells us the painful story, and how two children are now left as orphans.

Mariam asks her grandmother everyday:

“Why did my mother leave?

Why did my father leave?”

Too young to understand, this little girls suffers deeply.
