The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem has written a letter to the Wounded, and it included
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
My beloved wounded fighters, men, women, and children,
Greetings to you, O living martyrs, who have attained the status of martyrs without yet transitioning to the abode of eternity to continue your role of moral refinement and highness in the path of faith, fight, welayah and resistance.
Your tribulation is greater than that of those who fight in the path of Allah, for your painful wounds accompany you at every moment, yet they do not deter you from giving and sacrificing.
You follow in the footsteps of Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the protector of the path led by the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), embodying the highest levels of devotion to Allah and sacrifice for His cause in the Karbala of martyrdom and the defense of faith and truth.
How magnificent is this description from the Ziyarah of Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas, which applies to you: “How excellent is the patient, striving, defending, and supportive brother, who responded to the call of his Lord, desiring the great reward and noble praise that others neglected, and may Allah grant you the rank of your forefathers in the gardens of bliss.”
Your enemy is the "Israeli" entity and its supporter, America—the most tyrannical force in our world today. Yet, through your wounds, you have shattered its ambitions, thwarted its objectives, and become resounding voices of truth. You are the loyal ones to the Master of the Nation’s Martyrs, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (May Allah's blessings be upon him), and to all the martyrs, captives, wounded, and believers in this path. Allah has kept you alive so that you may continue your mission and fulfill your role to the best of your ability.
The path of resistance and liberation continues, growing stronger through the fighters, the wounded, the captives, and the faithful and noble people. This is the path of the Prophets and Imams, the path of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), the path of Imam Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified), the Wali, Imam Khamenei (may his shadow endure), the Master of the Nation’s Martyrs, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan (May Allah's blessings be upon him), Sayyed Al-Hashemi (May Allah's blessings be upon him), and the martyrs. As Allah Almighty says: “And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors.”
Your reward is preserved with Allah. Imam Zain Al-Abeqdeen (peace be upon him) said: “May Allah have mercy on Abbas, who preferred his brother over himself and sacrificed himself for him until his hands were severed. So Allah, the Almighty, replaced them with two wings with which he flies in Paradise alongside the angels, just as He granted to Ja'far ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him). Indeed, Abbas has a status with Allah that all martyrs will envy on the Day of Judgment.”
