Staking HBAR on the Hedera Hashgraph network is a straightforward process that lets you earn rewards while helping secure the network. Hedera uses a proof-of-stake system, and you can stake your HBAR using a wallet like HashPack, which is one of the most popular options in the Hedera ecosystem. Here’s how to do it step-by-step:
Set Up a Wallet:
Download and install the HashPack wallet from its official website (hashpack.app). It’s available as a browser extension or mobile app. Create a new wallet or import an existing one using your private key or seed phrase. Make sure you back up your seed phrase securely—don’t share it with anyone.
Fund Your Wallet:
Get some HBAR into your HashPack wallet. You can buy HBAR on exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, or KuCoin, then transfer it to your HashPack wallet address. Double-check the address to avoid mistakes.
Access the Staking Feature:
Open HashPack, log in, and navigate to the “Staking” tab. It’s usually on the main menu or dashboard, depending on the version you’re using.
Choose a Node:
You’ll see a list of nodes run by Hedera Governing Council members (like IBM, Google, or LG) or community nodes, depending on what’s available. Each node shows its current stake and reward rate. Pick one that’s not labeled “Oversubscribed”—this means it hasn’t hit its maximum stake limit. For the latest node details, you can check HashScan (hashscan.io).
Stake Your HBAR:
Click “Stake your HBAR” or a similar button next to your chosen node. On Hedera, your entire wallet balance is automatically staked—no need to specify an amount. Confirm the transaction when prompted. It’s quick, thanks to Hedera’s fast consensus, and costs a tiny fee (around $0.0001 USD).
Monitor Rewards:
Once staked, your HBAR starts contributing to the network’s consensus. Rewards kick in after a 24-hour staking period and are distributed daily, but you’ll only see them when you trigger a payout (like making a transaction or changing your stake). The reward rate varies—capped at 2.5% annually by the Hedera Governing Council as of now—but depends on how much HBAR is staked network-wide. You can track your earnings in HashPack or on HashScan.
Key Notes:
No Lock-Up: Your HBAR stays liquid. You can spend or move it anytime without unstaking—it just adjusts your staked balance.
Security Tip: For extra safety, pair HashPack with a Ledger hardware wallet. You’d connect your Ledger to HashPack, then stake from there. New Ledger accounts work best for this; older ones might need funds transferred to a new account.
Rewards: Don’t expect huge returns—some users peg it closer to 0.06% to 6.5% annually, depending on conditions. It’s more about supporting the network than big profits.
That’s it! You’re now staking HBAR on Hedera. If you want to tweak your setup—like switching nodes—just revisit the staking tab and update your choice.

Great News, the more stablecoins there are the higher the value of XRP. They will all rely on XRP.

Bank America wants to send their stablecoin to Chase for a transaction but Chase wants to do business with their stablecoin. How do you satisfy both parties? Answer: by using XRP

BOA will send their stablecoin to chase, XRP will intercept it, swap it and send Chase the Chase stablecoin.

Imagine that happening all over the world every second of the day. Trillions going back and forth with the help of XRP.
