The Library of Congress regularly changes the descriptors we use in our records so that users can search by subject/topic. Today, they announced that they are reviewing a proposed change of "Gulf of Mexico" to "Gulf of America" and reverting Mount Denali to Mount McKinley. They are only allowing people to submit comments in opposition to this change today and today only.
If you object to either of these changes (especially since the Gulf of Mexico is international water, and the change is not acknowledged in other parts of the world), you can email listcomments@loc.gov (again, today and only today).
